If you are looking for Korean Fried Chicken, this is it!!! My fiancée and I have been to different chicken places, but this by far the best. It has Bonchon Korean style chicken beat! Next time you’re in Orlando stop by this place it is delicious and you will not leave unsatisfied!
I have stopped by a few times for lunch, the combos are a good deal and the food comes up fast when you’re looking for a quick meal. Lately we have been ordering it go-to, either delivery or pickup because the fried chicken travels so well, you can easily drive it home 20 minutes and it’s still crunch and delicious. Still working through the different sauces but they’re all good, and the kimchi slaw is amazing, probably my favorite side and goes really well with the chicken.
Party of 5, including meat-lovers, vegetarians, and vegan- we all loved our food. Most of us having lived in Korea for several years tend to be picky with Korean food and really compare it to 'authentic' Korean food- this did not disappoint! Keeping in mond of course that many of these dishes were modern fusion. Friendly staff as well
So I've been slowly but surely trying to explore all the best places in Orlando. Word on the street was that Chi-Kin had some of the best Korean food in the city. The street being the fine readers of Orlando Weekly. So I decided to come by and pick up some takeout to see what the fuss was all about.I shared three things. First of all, of course, the Chi-Kin Wings, a small wings basket (10pcs), split into two flavors. Looking back, I can't exactly remember what two flavors they were. But I remember that these wings were banging. That crispy crispy exterior you expect from Korean wings. Something about that exterior makes the sauce adhere so well. These wings were definite five star wings and are a must-have.The second thing was the Chi-Kin Sammy, Dipped in a sauce. There are few things better than a saucy, crispy chicken sandwich. Very thick and juicy, with some pickles for a pop of acid. The bun was a little uninspired, very buttery and soft, but I want a bun with a little more heft to it.I got it in a combo, and upgraded my waffle fries to Bulgogi Beef Waffle Fries. Waffle fries topped with bulgogi and melty cheese. Sounded great to me. Disappointing in reality, though. Definitely not the ratio of toppings I was promised in the menu picture. And for dessert, I could not say no to the Fried D'OhBoys (topped with sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream). These were very good! Fried to a perfect crisp and chewy in the middle. The balls themselves weren't inherently sweet, thank goodness, so the sweetness than the milk and the cream brough were very nice.Overall, this was really nice. The wings were truly top notch, so if I'm ever in the Mills 50 area and need wings right now, I'm gonna swing by for sure!
The wings were good. The bowl was ok. The hot mess waffle fries were really good. However all the waffle fries were cold
It was.. ok. The place is nice and inviting.Just alittle disappointed with the food. I was actually on my way to Bonchon but changed my mind and wanted to give this place a try. It’s a hit and miss. I ordered wings, waffle fries and Kim chee fried rice. Chicken wings weren’t on point. Overcooked.First of all, peas and carrots don’t belong in Kim chee fried rice! And why does the rice taste like it’s been sitting for awhile?it’s a no for me. I like authentic pochon chicken wings- this isn’t it.I hope they do better.
Fresh sweet and a little bit of heat they have so many savory flavors and basic ones too this is best meant to be eaten fresh unless u live around the corner….I drove like 40 min super worth it parking is a problem ( but if u live in Orlando u know this already but the near downtown mostly parallel and tow away and garages) they open 2xs a day 11-3 and then again 5pm onward!
These are by far the best wings and tenders in the city of Orlando! There is no beating Chi-Kin when it comes to the amazing flavors and side dishes like the Bulgogi Beef Fries! This place is so good that I have gone back multiple times! These wings are the top highlight and just like how I rank every wing, I do it based off crispiness, juiciness, sauciness, and overall flavor. The crispiness is a 10/10 out the door, the moment you bite into the wing there is a loud crunch at the end of it to give you that awesome feeling of satisfaction. The juiciness is also a 10/10 because not only does it give you that nice crispy feel, it is juicy enough to equalize the crisp of the breading they use. And the sauciness is a 10/10 because they give you a good amount of sauce on their wings which gives it the best flavor. And finally the overall flavor is a 30/30 making these wings the best of the best! Same goes with the Tenders as well! If you want fire wings and some ginormous tenders, stop by here at Chi-Kin and you won’t regret it!
Best Korean fried chicken I've ever had! I got the lunch wing special and had them tossed in the sweet gochujang sauce. I had my fries upgraded to the beef bulgogi fries. I can't stop thinking about this meal. If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time. Prices were fair, dining area was clean, and we got our food fast.I highly recommend trying this place out.
Chi Kin is on repeat for dinner at our house! The wings are always hot and fresh and extra crunchy. Buffalo garlic, yuzu lemon pepper, and spicy honey are our favorite sauces. Make sure to ask for extra for your fries. Speaking of fries... The bulgogi fries are on point. You couldn't go wrong with just a side of fresh waffle fries, but why not top it with delicious bulgogi beef and spicy mayo?! Also, don't sleep on the fried rice. Any flavor is a win.The price point is comparable to other wing choices in the area. The amount of food we get for those prices is always more than enough. Service is always friendly and timely. The only reason it's a 4 and not 5 star is bc we're inevitably missing a sauce or 2 in our takeout.Note: My horrible phone photos don't do the food any justice.
