I Will Give Credit, To The Ribs Being Fairly Tender. The Sides Needed A Sidekick/Boost Of Much More Flavor. Variety Was There But Not That “UMPH”! A Meat Entree Deserves, Spice It Up
We love Cecil’s! Consistently delicious and vastly superior to any chain BBQ restaurant. Love the hot BBQ sauce and the bar with jalapeños, onions, and pickles. The ice tea is real, not from some icky powder mix. Employees are always friendly and it’s clean. Popular, but don’t worry when the parking lot is full. There’s always more room inside than you’d think! Free soft serve tops off a lovely experience every time!
Great location, ample parking, clean, and easy ordering. The BBQ was delicious, the side dishes were pretty good too!
Found this visiting for a track meet. Smokers outside smelled so good! Had the pork loin dinner. Highly recommend! Best I’ve had in quite some time. Sliced in front of you. Husband had brisket- not best he’s had, but very good. Sweet potato soufflé was homemade and delicious. Good, sweet slaw. Nice bonus treat was the free self serve ice cream cone w/ vanilla ice cream. 5 stars to support local bbq- 4.5 on food.
Super delicious menu with variety of sides and warm atmosphere. You can choose plates of one meat or two meats or three meats, and other delicious items!
Thank you all for all that you do!!! The fried okra is wonderful, and the chicken is never overcooked. I have dined at Cecil's for a while now, and they are perfect. The gentleman that answers the phone is so pleasant. I love it here. I will always continue my patronage. I order from Grub hub for delivery .. so many questions I cannot answer regarding dine in. Again Five Stars
Still the best Texas-style barbecue in Orlando.
Went in to get take out after wanting to try this place for a long time. Fella was really nice at the counter and helpful. I order $60 worth of food (3 dinners). Half rack of ribs, brisket and two meat dinner. Drove home to eat, opened my ribs order and came home to this (see pic). Exactly how it looked when I lifted the lid open. It was dry bits, barely any whole pieces. (ZOOM to your hearts content). I could swear I got the bits/ribs from ends of other racks. Truly disappointed. Saw people in the dine in line get theirs and it looked good, which is why I ordered. The brisket was better, a teeny bit on the dry side but better than the ribs. The pulled pork and sausage would be another combo I would rethink. I wish I'd taken a pic because the portion size of the (meh- but not dry) pulled pork was quite small along with maybe 6 thin diagonal slices of something like polka kielbasa. The sides were pretty average I would say. My husband and I were really looking forward to trying this place out. Even though the take out was a let down, I'd be willing to try out this place again, but def dine in, before we determine if we continue on our search for good 'que. Always love supporting local mom n pop places before the chains. Hope it's better inside.
The bomb!! Some of the best BBQ brisket I’ve had ever! Awesome restaurant setting, all the southern sides you could ask for, and killer bbq sauces! Texas toast was so good it’s worth mentioning. Just look at the picture! Whoop!
You will not go wrong with any menu item here. Delicious BBQ all around.Mike and the staff are always a pleasure to do business with.
