Clean beautiful hotel, heated pool with waterfall, bar's and restaurants on premises. Beware of the bars, was charges $9 at lunch for a drink and $14 in the evening for a drink. Alot of people were shocked by the alcohol prices since you can buy alcohol across the street and make your own. The hot tub had up to 18 kids in it at a time and unfortunately the "adult only" hot tub the jets didn't work very well at all. The staff cleaned all day and sanitized the chairs and replaced towels every morning by the pool. Housekeeping was helpful and did a great job.
The pool was our favorite part! The slide was so fun for the kids. Plenty of chairs for people to find a spot. Nice they offered the plant based option for food but it was incredibly oily and unflavored (chop up the large pieces of faux chicken, add seasonings to it and taste before you serve). There was a lady bartender wasn't the friendliest(skipped over me and I only needed napkins for food). The Coco loco drink was delicious.It was difficult to get a hold of the front desk when we needed a pillow. I had to call from my cell phone instead of the in-room phone because it just rang and rang.Rooms were nice. I like the door separating the pullout couch from the bedroom. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay again! Music by the pool /bar area is a bit loud at night. We went with kids and it was loud until pretty late. Our room wasn't even that close but it echoed.
Awesome resort. Loved it. Nice room, very nice pool, kids pool area, 3 restaurants n good public around. Very near to theme parks. Would love to visit again.
The hotel is great with one exception…. Laundry machines take quarters only, there are NO change machines anywhere and it’s also nearly impossible to find quarters in the hotel. If you’re going to have quarter wash/dry machines why would you not have change machines?!
Great place to get away with Family. There's something for everyone here. You will have an enjoyable stay. I went for my son's bday and they helped to decorate the room with balloons and cake before I arrived. Next morning chocolate cake arrived as scheduled at 7am on the dot. I will return.
Rooms were nice. Staff was very unenthusiastic. There were tons of people in the pool and hot tubs every night. I watched security do nothing and join them. I can't recommend this hotel for families. There was loud uncensored music at the pools using the hard N word and a lot of cursing. And NO LIFEGUARDS! And don't expect to find a parking spot after the sun goes down. The hotel does not regulate that either. At night there are a lot of drunk people roaming around the hotel being loud after hours. Again, security nor staff did nothing but watch and laugh. The only ones I can recommend this hotel too is the 21+ crowd who are not traveling with anyone younger. Stayed for 4 days 3 nights for a stay cation. Oh and avoid the breakfast buffet for $26 everything was old and not even warm. Staff was horrible and slow. Want an omelet? Hope you enjoy it covered in oil. If you do go. Just watch them make it... OK rant over. Won't be back...
My family and I recently had a delightful experience! The resort is absolutely spotless. In the mornings they even had staff out in the parking lots cleaning any trash or anything out of order. Impressive! A few other great perks… simple parking that was literally right outside of the tower we stayed at (super convenient!). Delicious coffee in the suites. Never heard our neighbors once! Definitely recommend!
First I want to start by saying the first night was great! 5 star service from the staff, the food was amazing, the pool was nice the view was beautiful everything was great! No complaints what so ever. But on the website it was advertised all over that there was complimentary breakfast. So after our great night at the Caribe Royale, we wake up in the morning at 6:30 to get ready for the complimentary breakfast and it is 25 dollars a person. Obviously after we got ready and went to the main building to get breakfast we were going to eat whether it was free or not because we were hungry. We had terrible service and the food was not good at all. Our server only came to our table 1 time after seating us and it was to bring us the bill of 132 dollars as there was an 18% service charge included after tax. The price is not the issue though. The issue was for that price we could have eaten at a 5 star restaurant with food that didn't have flies and insects flying around the food at the self serve bar. Not to mention all of the staff standing at the front desk of the restaurant staring at us when all of our drinks were empty. Very unfortunate that the breakfast ruined the amazing trip from the day before.
I enjoyed a fantastic stay! Facility was beautiful, well kept, and felt like a Florida hotel should.Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was nice and had a good floor plan.The cafe service was nice but a little slow. Lots of the restaurants were closed for remodeling (which will be awesome once they’re done). Water quality was bad like most of Florida so bottled water would be recommended for drinking.
Had the pleasure of staying here during a company event for 3 nights. The rooms were pleasant, staff friendly, and food/drinks savory! I'd visit again. David an employee with the serving staff was wonderful. He was very accommodating and friendly to both me and my co-workers! Keep him around Caribe!!
