It would have been great to actually try this place, but when we approached the host, they told us they were booked up for the night.. AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSING!! As someone in the service industry, and management for over 20 years, all I can say is what!? You close when your posted hours say you close, not over an hour before!!
I’d like to start off with saying that our server at the bar was awesome. Best service we’ve gotten in a long time. Unfortunately I do not remember his name. Now to the food. My husband ordered Gumbo and the seafood feast. I ordered Mama’s fried chicken. All the food came out Luke warm and not even close to being hot. The gumbo was reheated and was ok. If you like spicy food this is definitely your dish. My husband’s sea food platter had a strong coconut taste. He did not finish it. On my end my corn on the cob ice cold and not done. The chicken taste just like fish (yeah I know it’s a fish place but I don’t like fish) the potatoes were great and so was the gravy. We literally spent $48 plus the tip and pretty much went somewhere else to eat after our movie unfortunately. We use to walk by all the time this time we went in and we will never goBack again.
Enjoyed a meal and several cocktails after a day at the park. Bubba Gump had been on my bucket list for some time and didn’t disappoint. Great atmosphere and lots of thought had gone into the design. Would recommend after a day riding coasters.
Delicious seafood joint at Universal! We weren’t really digging the food at the theme parks themselves, and decided to come out to the general area for dinner one day. Bubba Gump’s was so good! We ordered the gumbo which was so flavourful, as well as the shrimp platter which was really good. We also shared the shrimp scampi which was so delicious! I ordered a bayou sunset which came with a cup from the gift shop I took home. The drink itself was fantastic!
An absolute must!We had a great meal here. The seafood feast was absolutely amazing and bottomless sodas too.A real treat for all of our family.The staff were fun, chatty and very attentive. Definitely worth a visit.
It was very busy with a wait time of 50 minutes. Nice atmosphere, food was good and reasonably priced. Didn't give 5 stars because our server did forget a few things we requested. Overall I look forward to returning.
I had the clam chowder with the coconut shrimps with chips very tasty in a well presented restaurant with friendly staff ok
Was seated very quickly as have a card son meal lovely mine was cold my son celebrate his 21 had a slash drink they put it in a glass that they charged $6 just for that normally the manager comes in ver but this time did not paid over $60 for 1 meal as mine was cold not happy
