This is my first time at this restaurant and it was the most disorganized place I have ever been in. We were a party of 17 celebrating a birthday. There was only one waitress (Marcy) who did the best she could to service us and other tables. We were here for almost 3 hours without food. The food was coming out a couple entrees at a time every 30 to 45 minutes. Orders were not correct. It took over 30 minutes to get salad dressing. There was no refills on the drinks old plates were not removed from the table. One of us had to go and get a cup of water. Ordered shots from the bar that took an hour to get to us. Asked to speak to a manager (Scot) and told him the issues we were having and his response was I did not know. At that time the last of the food came out finally 3 hours later. He did not show any remorse or explanation. He did not even apologize or figured out what the issue or problem was. Asked the manager (Scot) to bring our checks and he still did not. We are still waiting on our checks going on 30 minutes. From what I am seeing is that he is still refusing to help (Marcy). I am in management and the lack of helping your employee is a reflection of this company and location. This is by far the worse service and customer service that I have experienced at any restaurant.

We were looking for a steakhouse and found this place. We've never been so it was a new experience. Let me just say it was pretty cool. They bring out this black rock that's super hot and you cook your steak. It's really awesome. The food was great and we really enjoyed it. The salad I had with my dinner was one of the best salads I've ever had too.
Our party of 8 arrived about 745, we had a small wait but it was worth it. They do offer call ahead seating! The food was amazing! The steaks on the rock were all wonderful. Our waitress was amazing. We ordered everything from different kinds of steaks to sandwiches. The steaks ranged from $20-$35, the sandwiches were anywhere from $11-16 I believe. We would definitely go back. It’s certainly a new experience and fun if you haven’t done this type of dining. Their salad dressings are all home made and all very delicious as well. The bathrooms were in need of some attention but we did come at the end of a busy night. The Manager was also very kind and our waitress. I didn’t catch her name but she was a thin red head and gave fantastic service and recommendations. Give it a try! We loved it.
Having left Florida 3+ years ago, when I came back to town, this is the one place i wanted to eat. What a mistake. My wife and I used to eat here years ago and this place was awesome. Man, has this place fallen. It took over 2 hours to get our entrees. We made 3p reservations days in advance for 10 people, so they knew there would be a large party. I truly feel the 2 waiters we're trying their best, but that was it. Manager was involved towards the end and said "I don't know what happened, we were in meeting". We know, we watched him and 3 others standing in the back while his staff did what they could.I can't in good conscience recommend anyone come here. A true riches to rags story. I should have just left this a great memory. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
It's not dinner, it's an experience. Perfect date night. We had the bruschetta. I cooked the steak at the table. That was neat. High quality beef. My wife did he salmon. Tasty but not special. The drink specials are good. Each of us tried premium salad, the strawberry fields and the wedge. Both were prefect. Super friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CALL AHEAD. This place doesn't take reservations. We saved ourselves 45 minutes calling ahead.
I seen great videos on tiktok about this place, however it was very underwhelming. The customer service was ok & the food was mediocre. They discontinued what I actually wanted which was the happy hangover sandwich. I’m not sure why but they need to add it back. That would be the only way I would come back here. It was my friend’s birthday & they knew this yet still she did not receive that birthday dessert they advertise.
My first time trying this restaurant.We had a large party so I called a week ahead. They don't do reservations but priority seating. Not the best system but for what they serve I guess it's for the best. We arrived a few minutes after our time but might as well have been 30 because 2 large partys just sat at the table not ordering anything else just wasting everyone's time. The manager kept apologizing but nothing could be done. The waitress Alexa was wonderful she was literally flawless she made the best sweet tea. She recommended fantastic dishes and got us whatever we needed she certainly saved the night. Thank you again Alexa
First time visiting Black Rock & Grill and hands down BEST experience at a restaurant in a long time! Jacob was our server for our party of 9 people celebrating a birthday and he was incredibly amazing! He was so attentive with our drinks making sure we were never thirsty and he got our big order exactly spot on and we ordered alot! He was so nice and sweet! We even brought a big homemade birthday cake with us that he kept in the back and then once he cleared our table he immediately brought out the cake with all new utensils and plates to be able to eat it! We didn't have to ask because he was so on point with literally every part of our dining experience! We also loved how we got to cook our own steaks for such a unique experience and Jacob even gave us a little tutorial on how to cook it! Thank you again Jacob for taking great care of our family and we will DEFINITELY be back and request for you to be our server! ??
