Gravely disappointed with the quality of the food. The oysters were dry and not amazing quality. The lobster was not seasoned well. We ordered what we thought would be sushi because in the menu it was under section âsushi.â However, what we got was something else. Some of us felt a bit sick after eating the seafood, I do not believe it was that fresh. This was not the best seafood. We are sadly not going back to this restaurant. It lacked flavor and freshness. And I question the quality of the seafood.
We were very excited to go to dinner last night but the place was EMPTY! I do have to ask WHY? For an empty restaurant it took over 15 minutes to get three drinks . The server started out very happy but then his mood changed - something must have ticked him off. It was so noticeable that the other people all commented. The food was very good . I ordered a lobster to share and when it came to the table I commented to the server that the roe was missing. I knew it was a female lobster as I saw a tiny bit of roe - but it was all scooped out. The server actually told the chef that I had commented and funnily enough the server said she's a "foodie" and she knows her stuff. There was no good explanation as to why it was gone. I actually enjoy it and I had never been to place that had deliberately done this. Anyway - my bluepoint oysters were delicious and I tasted my cousin's sliced ahi tuna appetizer - amazing. And your bread and butter were also pretty darn tasty. So except for a few hiccups the meal was very good . When we left nobody said goodnight and there was actually a cook or the chef at the hostess stand who said nothing as he was too buys reading something on his cell phone - not professional at all. I'm not sure I'd go back as they are other places in town with a lot more ambience.
Food was very tasty.
The food was delicious! We started with the grilled oysters and they were good. I ordered the salmon. The salmon was cooked and seasoned to perfection! My boyfriend ordered the T-Bone steak and the 8 oz lobster tail. Both were so tender and delicious. We also had the pomegranate margaritas. Yummy!
The place was good overall. But I was disappointed in the salmon it was too salty. I picked that because the server recommended and said you canât go wrong with salmon. The one thing you can do to a salmon is add to much salt it has natural salt already in it. Also the green beans they served with it was crunchy not great. But my boyfriend and his daughter loved there meals so Iâm happy about that I took him there for his birthday dinner. Nice place and nice service. Maybe just tell chef no salt for salmon.
Service was unbelievably slow. Fish was over cooked and dry. Appetizer and drinks were good. Wonât be back.
No one at this restaurant when I walked in. Literally. Server was extremely friendly and helpful. That is about the extent of the eveningâs niceties. Food was lousy: salmon was undercooked. Even after asking for the temperature to be well done. The accompaniments were expected to be brocolinni. Green beans were the âchefâs choiceâ of what he expected us to eat. We asked for brocolinni again. Finally got it. Burnt to a crisp. Ugh In the meantime the restaurant was still empty. Yet, the staff found it appropriate to set up a table for 16 that was supposed to be coming in at 9:30 pm. Mind you, this was at 5:45 pm. General experience: no bueno. With do many restaurants in the area, this will not be a choice on the future.
We went for another Special Occasion dinner at âBig Finâ and we were not let down! Everything from service(Joe), drinks, our delicious meals of Swordfish & Filet with Crabmeat, to the birthday dessert of âOoey Gooeyâ was Amazing! We will definitely be back!!
Their fish selections are excellent! They have a new octupus dish on menu, which I had, and was a tad overcooked. I gave feedback to the kitchen.
food was over price . The service was great . The wine was very pricey for Kim Crawford .
