We ordered delivery/takeout from here and had a terrible experience. We did not receive any soy sauce for our sushi rolls and we were staying at a hotel so not like we had any other easy access to any. The sushi rolls would have been good had we received the soy sauce but without it, it was greatly disappointing made the sushi far less enjoyable. We also ordered the red curry rice bowl. There was literally no sauce in this curry. It was the driest chicken, vegetables and rice I have ever ate. I sure hope this is normally not the quality of service that is delivered. What a sad dinner experience for something we were looking forward to. Do not recommend.
I first discovered Bento while attending UF in Gainesville and have enjoyed watching them expand throughout Florida. I travel to Orlando for work often and my hotel is 8 minutes away from the Dr. Phillips location so I’m ordering take out for dinner a lot. It’s super easy to order online on my phone and my order has always ready on time and it’s exactly what I’ve asked for. The food is amazing, tastes super fresh, and there are a ton of options which is why I’m going back every week, I never have to get the same thing twice. The bowls are a generous portion, I always have leftovers. The sushi is delicious, I love the sauces and variety of options. There are 30 minute parking spots out front so it’s easy to get in and out for my to go orders.
My wife and I just had some poke bowls for the first time at this location and we were blown away by the service and the food. Absolutely loved it. It's so strange because I used to work near the downtown location, had food there once and was convinced it was reheated Panda Express. Very mid by comparison. The Dr. Phillips location earned back a patron for the franchise. Adda took our order with genuine enthusiasm about the food and Echo answered all our questions about the restaurant. Was surprised to learn they had been open for long, ive been missing out. Much love to staff at the Doctor Phillips location.
We ordered Pao Pao and crunched roll. The food was amazing.Uyen was really nice to us.Thanks!
Walked in and ordered right away. My bf ordered something that was no longer on the menu and our boy Charles came up with something similar. Turned out great. I got the Mongolian Veggies Udon Noodle bowl. So yummy! If you ever visit the SL location, hit up Charles for great service!
Felt it was a little expensive to not have any table service options. The purple rice was a cool novelty, but not worth the added cost. This is another business that seems to only sort of follow covid stuff. They are not fully open and aren't fully close. It seems like they have just made the experience for customers less than ideal.
Really good food and service. Slightly over priced. The bathrooms definitely need to be cleaned.
Quick service and delicious sushi. Totally fantastic big rolls with the Zombie and Volcano. All sauces were tasty and place was clean. Happy hour specials looks great.
I didn't go in with high expectations but was very happy with the visit. The staff was all very nice and the venue was clean. The food was all of high quality and I really enjoyed the sushi. It had unique flair and wonderful taste. The kids boxes were very nice to, looked very professional and appetizing. The kids also enjoyed Frozen and regular boba tea. My mom seemed to enjoy her shrimp bowl and she isn't a fan of trying new things, so I think that says a lot. It isn't a cheap night out but it is fairly priced for the amount and quality you get.I'll gladly go back.
I’ve been coming here for years for cheap, casual Asian food. However in the last year, the price of their poke bowls went from about $11 to $16. That’s close to 50%. No change in portion size. I just had to send my order back because the fish was spoiled. They remade it with better fish but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
