The ambiance on a Sunday brunch was ok. Not much options on the menu. Me and my husband were told they have better options for dinner. I ordered the quiche with grilled chicken terrible choice. The quiche tasted like pure fresh eggs flavor and moist as if to say the egg were not completely cooked. My husband ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich, the chicken lacked flavor apart from the dressing on top of it. The home fries were the best thing I eat and that came with my husband dish and the vinaigrette salad which came with the quiche. The mimosas was good and service was okay. Love the art work on the wall.
I hadn't been to the Artisan's Table in quite some time and ended up going there for brunch. I'm glad we did. The service was impeccable. A member of our party ordered French toast and the waitress found its preparation unacceptable. She had it remade before it even arrived at the table. The chicken and waffles were delightful. The waffles especially were delicious and the Sriracha maple syrup was a nice touch. I'll definitely have to add the Artisan's Table to our Sunday Brunch rotation.
My husband and I met up with some friends here. Dinner was great! The prix fixe menu is definitely the way to go...and the shrimp papparedelle entree is AMAZING. I ordered the hanger steak.. it was good but my husband's shrimp pasta was incredible. The taco appetizer and the cheesecake were good too.Our friends ordered drinks and said they were all really great too. Overall, we had a great experience. Service was fantastic, food delicious and excellent company. We will be back!
You get what you pay for is the saying, it's a bit pricy even with the prix fixe menu but the food was tasty. The taco appraiser was really good and my salmon was good though I'm not a huge fan of couscous. Lex took good care of us and was super friendly. I can't afford to make it our go to date night but I'd go back. So if you need a date ladies, and want to treat an old married guy to dinner, you know a place you can take me.
There was insanely small portions. I paid over 10$ for literally scraps. This was the worst place I have dined in Orlando. The actual taste was good but a complete dish is infinitesimally small relative to the cost and I’m currently still here.
This is a nice place on Church Street. We ate here before a Magic game. The restaurant has lots of windows with an open bar area, so it is light and airy. The menu is a little limited but has some nice choices. When we were here they had a special 3 course menu for $39, which is hard to beat (wine pairings $20). There is a full bar and the wine list is short but decent and well-priced. We had the shrimp dip as appetizer which was very good. It came with some very nicely seasoned naan for dipping. My wife had the short rib tacos for her main which were nice (she wasn't very hungry and this is a small portion). I had the crispy chicken which was excellent. The sides (crispy brussel sprouts and a squash gratin) stole the show. Service is low key and competent and efficient. Overall a great place to eat before an event at Phillips or Amway
My wife and I caught a manatee Broadway show at the Dr. Phillips Center recently and was looking for a place for an early dinner afterwards that was within walking distance and found this restaurant on Church Street (a mere 9 minute walk from the Center). When we got there, we were not sure that it was open but the hostess seated us at one of the few booths (they have lots of tables). We scanned the menu and picked out our drinks and meal choices. I checked the reviews online quickly before ordering and went with the Grilled Hanger Steak that was served with a cilantro-citrus Korean steak sauce over sticky rice with FRIED BROCCOLI - yes, fried broccoli. OMG was everything so good and the fired broccoli was so different and tasty (lightly dusted broccoli that is deep fried very quickly - SO GOOD). My wife ordered off the special Prix Fixe menu that came with an app, entrée, and dessert for only $39 and the serer said that the entrées were full-size off the Prix Fixe menu and she was not lying. First my wife picked the Beet & Mozzarella salad and we split it as it was huge. It was very good with golden beets with a lot of fresh mozzarella with roasted red onions, truffle-oil spiced walnuts with a balsamic reduction over everything. My wife then ordered the Braised Short Ribs with roasted root vegetables over a caramelized onion-barley risotto with a sherry demi-glaze and it was so tender and tasty along with being a huge portion. Finally, she and I shared her dessert from the Prix Fixe of Vietnamese Coffee Chocolate Torte that was also so tasty and large enough to share. My wife had a couple of the 'Perfect Marriage' signature cocktails and I had a tasty Victory "Golden Monkey" IPAs. Our server was attentive and the meal was a great end to a day. We were so happy that we picked this restaurant to try after our show.
Very good restaurant! Took us by surprise but it was well worth the detour to downtown Orlando. Excellent burger, Braised beef ribs, shrimp pasta with goat cheese sauce, crispy fried chicken, everything was quite delicious. Will go back.
The hostess looked like she was disgusted we showed up. She didn’t say hello. She didn’t smile. She grabbed 3 menus, spun on her heel and took us to a table without a word. What a welcome! I can eat at home for a lot less. I go to restaurants for the ambiance and experience. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The beet salad… well, the beets were cut into microscopic pieces that I had to search for amongst the lettuce. The waitress was sweet and the place is beautiful. But the bathroom was dirty and with that welcome… I wouldn’t go again. Even for those fries.
Food delish, waitress also delish.Empty today, but appetizers only till 5, didn’t stay, overall? Excellent!
