Really enjoyed going to American Social today. I went with group of 6 and they brought all of our food out at the same time and they were all very hot plates. The food was really good and the drinks were on point. Really enjoyed our server Carolyn she did such a great job. I will def be coming back here to enjoy the atmosphere and The DJ played the best music.

Great atmosphere! Presentation was nice. Mac n cheese was a total letdown. Pairing the wrong pasta with the cheese, plus it was very bland. Smash burgers were ok, very greasy and oily, sadly they weren't real smash burgers like you'd expect from Steak n Shake or Culver's. These were just very small patties.If you want a fun place to go this is it. Food is hit or miss so flip that coin and dig in!Prices were too high to justify the end product imo.
It was me and my friend’s first time! I am so impressed with the food, the drinks and overall the service and atmosphere. They played upbeat music from the 90s! It was our server’s 2nd table to serve on her first day on the job. Kudos to Mika! She was so sweet.
My second time at the American social and it was very different. The DJ played a variety of music and it wasn’t to loud! The food was okay not much of a variety like the last time I was here. The drinks were nice and strong.
Honestly, brunch was just meh The hostesses were friendly and prompt when accommodating my party. The drinks were very strong. We had bottomless mimosas and margaritas. We also had the buffalo chicken fries which were PHENOMENAL and the chicken wings that had virtually no flavor. There’s a DJ who was ok. Not great. Not terrible. Just ok. Not a great brunch menu. I’ve heard that they have a better one after 3 pm. I’ll have to check them out outside of brunch because I wasn’t really impressed.
The inside is a very loud upscale trendy sports bar I was actually glad to be seated outside where the noise volume was quite a bit calmer. Service, drinks and food was all fantastic. Got the prickly pear mojito fantastic really well made drink. Our table ordered pizza, a burger and the shrimp arugula salad all excellent. Would highly recommend.
Server was amazing and super sweet. Came out for our friends birthday two days ago and the manager I believe was helpful at first. Then the night continued there was a mix up with the bill, the server remained sweet and patient, the manager seemed to slowly become more and more irritable. We had a bunch of decorations, including balloons and seashells. We cleaned up all the seashells and took the banners and balloons down. The manager then said we have to take all the balloons with us (this was never mentioned about the balloons) we were polite the entire time and a small group and most weren't even there the whole time, all in all we were an easy going crowd. The manager then tells us to make sure we don't pop any confetti balloons (obviously) or he was going to MAKE us stay and sweep it up. On our friends BIRTHDAY. Not to mention we cleaned up 3/4 of our mess including stacking all dishes to make them easy to carry back. I tipped the waitress 25$ plus there were 5 other bills people tipped on, for 2 hrs. This is a message to the owner. I work in the service industry and it is YOUR JOB to clean up after the customer. Your behavior was repulsive and reflects on how you truly feel about your customers. How dare you threaten to make us clean on our friends birthday when YOU ARE BEING PAID FOR YOUR SERVICE. MAN CHILD.
It was recommended that we try American Social as a change of pace. First, the outside is certainly up-to-date. Very welcoming and up-to-date. Good size waiting area but could be larger.The hostess was pleasant and took our information to secure us a table. They did ask for us to provide our number(s) so we could be informed as to when that table(s) was available.Our server was amazing and had such good energy. They were kind enough to review the menu and answer any questions, as did the General Manager as well.Great selection!! I had the meatballs and grits. Great flavors and great presentation. I enjoyed the meal so much. I bragged about it even to a friend that's a vegan that they should at least try the grits. I especially liked the arugula salad on top.Drinks were amazing as well. I ordered an old fashion with bourbon and it had a great flavor and the smokiness remained throughout the entire meal. Our server was also kind enough to make sure that our water was replenished throughout our experience.We also had some shots brought over both of us raved about them. We even asked for the recipe.Our bill was brought out and we both offered CC for payment. The server was happy to break things up and exit was easy.Great experience and the staff really showed they cared and enjoyed their job. Certainly a reflection of their leadership. This is a must try
