Lystra is an amazing chef, food always on point and the wontons with the garlic sauce is really out of this world.
I ordered for a small celebration on May 29th and couldn’t have been happier! For half trays, the portions fed 7 adults and 4 children — TWICE! We got fried rice, lomein and Chinese chicken. Lystra was super accommodating and patient and my order was ready prior to the estimated pickup time! The food was amazing, as was the service! Look forward to ordering again soon ?
Couldn’t believe what kind of food they serve me today. The lady in the front was real rude. The food was nasty. I ordered fries with chicken and was served a plate of burnt fries beyond recognition and fried stewed chicken. I don’t know if this place is an Asian or Jamaican restaurant. I will never eat here again.
Best Guyanese/ Caribbean spot in Orlando that I've have so far... Then again if it ain't broke don't fix it.Been going here for 3yrs and they never disappoint. Staff is nice as well.The pepper shrimp ??Fries with jerk chicken and garlic sauce?Chicken fried rice ?

The customer service and food is always top notch compared to the other Caribbean restaurants in the area. The owner is always kind, friendly, and respectful. I highly recommend Alvin's to everyone!

This place must not be in business to make money. They are constantly closed, never pick up the phone, if you show up before they close and dont place your via phone they wont take it at the counter. All these issues were present before covid and it's worse now that they can blame covid. Look elsewhere for food, not worth the headaches.
Food is great! The lady that takes the orders is really nice. Wish they were open a lil later.
2nd time in row buying food from Alvins Cuisine and the service was very unacceptable! Her up charge fees for extras are ridiculous. $7.99 for extra side chicken with no rice are you kidding me? Might as well just order an addition food which is expensive. Thought we would give her another chance but the second time the food was very little portion for the amount money that was spent and let’s talk about barley putting meat on the food. This restaurant needs to close down and don’t think about running a business if their going to be this cheap.
