Food was delicious. Atmosphere was nice. Help was fantastic. Had a great time! Good value on the buffet. We lived in Fiji for a very long time, which has great Indian food at good values. This very much reminded us of our Fiji home. We will be back!
Reading these reviews is laughable. I've been a customer for years, and the staff are always accommodating. Food is great. The girls, from what I have seen, are always well composed, given that the customers are often rude. Not the same type of customs you would get at a regular American restaurant as they could never get away with that behaviour. Overall, amazing place and definitely recommend to all.
The food was decent. The service was not. Was finishing up dinner about 15 min before closing and the staff started mopping with strong chemicals and cleaning up…Ok they want to clean up that’s fine. The most disrespectful part is when the friend I’m dining with takes his last bite and the male server comes and starts cleaning the table and picks up his plate seconds after he puts his fork down. Does not ask, if they are done. Just picks up the plate and starts cleaning the table without saying anything. THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT CLOSED they close at 10 and we were out before then. I left a tip because it’s customary but that was not deserved at all. We were not greeted by either male or female server when we walked in and the whole encounter was very rushed and unpleasant. Be more respectful of your paying customers. You close at 10, so close at 10.
Its a really nice place to try indian food. It was really good. The place its very quiet and has a nice atmosphere was low indian music. The only reason I gave 4 star is because they have an small selection of food as a buffet. Im sure they can incluide more indian traditional food. Anyway the selection they have its very good. Be aware the food has a lot of condiments even spicy.
Excellent food. Delicious and quick. Attentive couple. Nicely remodeled and clean. Decent price, too. We had dinner and will go back to try their buffet.
Been to several indian restaurants before. Love the food. Ahmed restaurant is an excellent place. The buffet is smaller but still hot and very fresh. The naan is amazing. Loved everything that I had; rice, tiki masala, goat curry. This place is awesome and lunch buffet is pretty reasonable (8.95). Going again soon with family. :)Update Dec 2021: Been cong here for close to 10 years now. I love this place. I love the food, and the Naan is always hot and fresh. This place is more than a restaurant, it's part of my life. I'll always love this place, and hope it continues to serve food for a long time. The buffet is now $10.95 and a great deal with all the offerings they have.
I had the misfortune of getting stuck in traffic on the way home and smelling this wonderful food the whole drive! I'll order more spicy than medium next time. The goat curry and palak were excellent, very flavourful without being overly salty. The rice has a nice floral smell. I wish I could have eaten the tandoori fresh, but it was good.If, like me, you're coming to Orlando from somewhere with lots of competition for Indian restaurants, this one is a good choice.
We ordered from this restaurant, usual CTM, butter chicken and chicken pakora. We liked the butter chicken and the tikka masala, but the chicken pakora was a bit bland.
Do not be discouraged by the appearance of this location(Plaza)The food is delicious, fresh and full of flavors. I’ve been here several times and the food never disappoints. I have also seen many Indian families eating here which can only mean they are approved by the real deal. The staff is very friendly as well.
Delicious and affordable! The waiters were nice , service was fast and the food was delicious. As you can tell I DEVOURED everything I saw within my sight . Not even lying I ordered every main entree off the menu and it was well worth it. The portions are hugeeee and the price for it is incredible. They give tons of meat and rice! Dare I use a Tik tok reference…. Ate and left no crumbs….
