Very fast and tasty for lunch.
NiniThePatriot & I decided to check out Ruby Tuesday for a change. Haven’t been for quite a while, not sure why. Sure glad we stopped. Great menu selections & the salad bar is as grand as it always was. Even had fresh watermelon ?. We decided to order the special Tacodilla (I think that’s right) I’m visual so I was instantly sucked in by the advertisement on the menu. I let NiniThePatriot do the reading. We ordered both the chicken and the steak. Came with the dish of black bean & rice salsa (what I call it, sorry the special menu isn’t available online). Anyway, it was all delicious. We both preferred the beef over chicken, but for no particular reason other than our mood at the time. The rice dish was great flavor with a surprise. Since I didn’t read the menu, I didn’t know it was served COLD . It was a great surprise. Our attendant was wonderful. She read us straight away, knew we weren’t needy so she didn’t have to hover, and she was sure to give us a quick check-in every so often. Great experience all around and we have to do better about remembering RT is so close to The Lakehouse! @PopopThePatriot
We ordered the steak medium rare it came out and no pink in the inside at all they took my back came out still nothing no pink and then trying to eat it it was like chewing a rubber the steak had too much gristle in it so tough that you couldn't really enjoy it.We were the with another couple and we didn't want to make a scene.I waitress was pretty good the only problem is she was taking care of the bar and I really didn't have time for us she was very pleasant when she was there.The manager you came out and apologize for the meal that we paid for it we didn't get anything taken care of not that we expected it
Heather was the BOMB!!! Great service & friendly attitude with a smile ? However I ordered the Triple play & it was less than up to par. The shrimp & chicken tenders looked like you would find it in the $5 menu at Dairy Queen. Save your money. The salad bar is always the way to go here, whether alone or with a meal, you can't go wrong!! But again, I'd really like to mention, Heather was great!! She made my Mother's Day such a treat!! Thanks Heather!!!
Had a great meal here today (05/01/22) with the wife! Good food & fantastic service by Seth!!! Management was very courteous too!! We'll be back!

We visited last weekend, were seated and forgotten. We waited 15 min and left. Today we gave them a second chance. Ordered drinks and did not get them. Had to ask another server. Ordered salad bar. Lettuce spring mix was brown. Set credit card on table. Server said he would be back. Waited 15 min. No 3rd chances.
The only reason I did not give a 5 Star was because I thought the potato could have been hot and the pasta salad on the salad bar tasted old.Otherwise, the service was top notch, the restaurant was very clean, comfortable. Their ribs are fabulous! Melts right off the bone.Definitely worth going back.
Today, 9 of us had lunch together at the restaurant. I understand all about short staffing, long waits, etc. I could not find an excuse in the world for the very slow service and barely mediocre food. The $2.00 draft beer was the only saving grace. The soup looked like the weekend's leftovers poured into a pot. My sandwich cheese was gritty and very gross. The ones getting the salad bar were the only ones who remotely enjoyed their lunch. It was not busy at all. The usual lunch crowd had left. It was all in all a terrible experience and we will not be going back.
My husband and I eat at Ruby Tuesday’s in Fleming Island, Fl most every Sunday after church. We find it to be very enjoyable. We especially like the salad bar. We think it is delicious!! Ruby’s has a wide variety of different items on their menu. Of course, I haven’t eaten but a few of my favorites and they are always spot on. The main thing that makes Ruby’s on Fleming Island so special and enjoyable for us is our server (waitress) Heather. She works in the bar area…as well as where the booths are in the bar area. She is MAGNIFICENT!! She is the best server - bar none- that we have ever met in Florida or anywhere else. …including Ruth Chris and other top Dollar restaurants. We call her on our way to the restaurant and she has our table ready with the drinks she knows we always order. Everything just ready for us to sit down. If she sees us coming from the parking lot she does the same thing …has everything ready. She not only does it for us but for other couples as well. She is quick and has our refill drinks (tea…coffee…coke or whatever)…at the table without our ever having to ask her. She is extremely nice and personable …polite and kind.…and patient. I can’t say enough wonderful things about. She is top notch!
