Not the best. Almost every bite of my shrimp rolls had the tail still on it. The beef in the Lo mein was very chewy and all the noodles and veggies were mushy and over cooked. Less than mediocre
Extremely friendly service and great selection of menu items. My fiancé and I got the seaweed salad and miso soup for apps and they were delicious. Food is fresh and the eel and spicy tuna rolls were incredible! Definitely gonna make this a regular spot!!
Great food. We really enjoyed our visit on 4/26/22. My wife had the beef teriyaki bento dinner and I had a couple of sushi rolls and edamame. All of the food was really fresh and tasted great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only gripe we had was the nature of the restaurant, it was dated, seemed to need a good scrub down and a fresh coat of paint. Not a deal breaker by any means. Looking forward to visiting again sometime.
Tempura was lukewarm and not fresh, like they made it earlier heated it up in the microwave.Fried rice was cold and teriyaki was cold. Sit down customers get ignored and Walk-in customers with Togo orders get served faster. This restaurant prioritizes online and Togo orders at the expense sit down customer in their restaurant.For the price they charge they should be ashamed.
Food was good. I’ve never seen a Japanese resturant give just plain white rice instead of fried with hibachi so I was disappointed there. Miso delicious! Also confused that they didn’t have ginger dressing. No biggie. Looked like it was made fast and thrown together… I know not all restaurants are the same. Probably won’t eat there again for those reasons but the food did taste good!
Hands down the best sushi restaurant in the Orange Park area. Consistent food, great family run place, easily in the top 3 of all Jax sushi restaurants. I think the "yum yum" / shrimp sauce is a little tart & watery compared to other places where I like it, but the rest of my family thinks it's the best so...yeah. We've been eating here for years now, and they continually satisfy our sushi & hibachi fix almost weekly.
This is a great little neighborhood place to get sushi. I meet friends here for sushi all the time after work. This place has a busy take out business. I like the selections of sushi and I am totally okay with the dine in area not being fancy. I’m there for the food. The people who wait on us are very kind. I love the spicy Salmon and Yellow Fin Tuna rolls. I just went for a lunch special and had the clear soup with my lunch and it is very good. Pretty exciting that I could get a lunch special on the weekend.
Went here for the 3 rd time and was really disappointed. The first 2 times the food and service was absolutely wonderful. Last night was different. They only had 1 waitress 1sushi chef and one person in the back of the house. That is simply not enough people to run this restaurant. Would have been better for them just to say sorry we’re short staffed and it might take 10 minutes to get your drinks. I would have been perfectly fine with that (stuff happens). Why would you risk ruining your reputation. They should have either just shutdown the restaurant, or turned off door dash. Instead they chose to give bad service to everyone.
