I went to have lunch with my family. We like to support small businesses .I have been several times for lunch years ago and had been very happy with food and service.Well I was very disappointed this trip. Service was just ok but food was horrible. I got the steak and cheese sandwich and I had more bread than steak and cheese. The steak was over cooked. My mom ordered chicken Parmesan dinner and received her dinner when our family was all done. Mom took it home and ate a few bites and ended up throwing it away.Unfortunately I will not go back. Was very disappointed and not worth the money we spent for two dinners.
Food was good, but the service was GARBAGE. We ordered curb side pick up, and the VERY RUDE receptionist kept placing us on hold once we arrived to pick up our order. We told her we were there to pick up our food , and she rudely told us she was working with other customers so we would have to wait. After calling a 3rd time (waiting on hold for more than 10minutes after order pick up time) the receptionist picked up, placed us on another hold before hanging up all together. We do curb side at other restaurants all of the time.Leadership should train the phone personal how to be courteous and professional when dealing with customers who are spending hard earned money at a time when inflation is already at an all time high. We will NEVER order from here again. I’ve also shared the experience with several neighbors, who acknowledge customer service is not a strong suit at this establishment. Hire better quality personnel.
I gave this restaurant two stars because that was the number of dishes that were edible. Their Greek dressing is amazing. Their eggplant Parmesan was very good. However their pasta tasted like it was pre-cooked and then just reheated before it was put on our plate it was very rubbery and had no flavor, my husband had to send back his meatball because it was undercooked and very chewy. He is from New York and was really looking forward to a good New York meatballs, but this was not it! If you are going to have the word meatball in the name of your restaurant you need to serve good meatballs! We probably will not go back here unless we are in the mood for a good salad.
Such a horrible experience. We will not come back to NYC pizza. Placed an order through the app. Quoted pick up time was 45 min later. Fine. Arrived at the stated pick up time and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our food. Ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable. Staff was friendly but offered absolutely NOTHING to make it right. Not the best decision for a customer that spends more than $80 each time we come because of the size of our family.
Everytime I've visited, the food and service were on point. Pizzas are delicious; haven't had a bad one yet! Garlic knots are really good, too. My recent visit I tried the lasagna. Great choice. Huge portion, cheesy, flavorful and came with two garlic bread slices. It's hard to find good lasagna without having to visit an expensive Italian restaurant. I'll definitely return for the lasagna and, of course, the pizza. Thursdays are discounted beers, too!
First timers…visited for dinner on a Sunday evening. Anthony was our server and he provided top notch service and had a great personality. He was also very knowledgeable of the menu, kept drinks full, and checked on us periodically. The food was delicious, garlic knots are AMAZING! Everyone ordered something different and we all liked our food a lot. Great food and service. We will definitely return soon!
It was a long way to travel but WORTH EVERY MINUTE!!We had fried pickles & naked garlic wings to start with & Ethan our server suggested to garlic knots ( OMG-DELECTABLE!! Then we ordered the Supreme pizza for dinner ., WORDS are not enough to describe the food, service & quality!!Thank you - NYC pizzeria & Thank you V4VICTORY for the treat!Love- The Wyman's ?
What changed?! We used to love ordering from here. We had a pizza and garlic Parmesan wings. The pizza was BURNT SO BADLY. The wings were shriveled and dry. I called back to say the pizza was burnt and never received the marinara sauce I ordered. No apologies, I felt like a burden, but they sent a new pizza. Still no marinara sauce the second time. When opening the pizza I asked my husband if he ordered a thin crust… the quality has changed drastically. We won’t be ordering again. This is not the same food we used to love so much.
I do not know what happen I usually love this pizza but maybe there is a switch in management or a cook. I order extra cheese because it was lacking last time. Now it's even worst I will post a picture. For some reason can't figure out how to upload the photo but anyhow trust me it does not have enough cheese for a regular pizza.
Good meal and exceptional service. Caleb, our server, was extremely personal and enhanced our dining experience with his friendly smile.
