Great food and clean restaurant. Will go back again.

Great food and staff. Love it?

Delicious , great portioned food. Excellent wait service. The price of the foodi is reasonable.

Doesn't match the name at all. Everyone was anything BUT Grumpy. Our server was so fun and efficient and pleasant. Very busy on a Friday morning, but way worth the wait."Home Fries" are a bit more like small potato wedges, but very delicious! The pancakes were large and tasty. The waffles are HUGE! I think a "half" order is half of what my pic shows. They have daily specials and we ordered the lucky charms waffle. The O.J. is fresh squeezed and no pulp, though I didn't care for the taste of it as it was more tart than sweet, my table mates enjoyed it.

Absolutely perfect experience every time we go delicious food friendly staff quick service affordable price just right highly recommended to all age groups if you haven’t been you’ve definitely got to go

First - at this location, there is an “in” and an “out” to the parking lot. I sorta went in the wrong way and made no friends. Plenty of parking, though. We had stopped in Jacksonville for the night, and our hotel had an overrated, uninspired bistro for breakfast. So, we did a search for something close and this place pops up. Kids thought the name was great, and since Grumpy’s had a boatload of good reviews, I agreed we should check it out. Holy moly… what a place! Cars lined up to get in (see first paragraph), people waiting outside. Had to be good, right? I asked how long for a party of three, thinking it was going to be an hour or more. We were told it would be 20 min and I don’t even think it was 10. They have a very large, efficient staff, so tables were ready to go as soon as a party left. I don’t think I saw anybody working there that wasn’t busting their butt and not smiling! This made for a great diner atmosphere. We ordered breakfast, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better server (Christi). Drink orders taken and served right away (and kept foiled during our meal). Checked in with us enough, but not too much. VERY nice, though. Made us feel quite welcome with no sense of being rushed. The kids both got waffles (a half-order consists of two thick waffle squares that were both about 5 x 5 inches) and I got a funky fried green tomato eggs Benedict thing. Never seen it on a menu before, so I had to get it. Great twangy green tomato thrown into the traditional mix - quite tasty. I got hash browns, which were excellent (nicely browned and crispy), but I regret not trying their cheesy grits. Next time! My daughter got the USA waffles, which had a good amount of fresh strawberries and blueberries with a dollop of whipped cream on the side. My son had the caramel pecan brownie waffle that was the special for the day. It looked great and very decadent - he definitely enjoyed them. All in all, this was an excellent experience. I even bought one of their coffee cups! Definitely going to make it a point to stop here next time we’re in town. They serve lunch, too!

The best part about grumpys is the price , a relatively cheap meal and mostly good food. disappointed in the cinnamon bun because it was dry and burnt on the bottom, and although the fried chicken Benedict was delicious the hash browns were not. I guess you get what you pay for. the wait was about 50 min on a Sunday morning , which is expected for alot of breakfast places.

First time patron on 3/20 and I have to say, the wait was worth it. Parking is a little hairy here, but with enough patience you can nab a spot in the main lot.Inside was decorated nicely, very inviting and clean. Seating was plentiful and comfortable. The waitress was attentive and didn't forget our orders and kept our beverages filled. The oddest thing about the visit was that our meals came out in stages. And the meal I'd argue was the easiest to put together came out last. I'd assume this had to do with getting food out without sitting under a warmer but other tables got their food at the same time so...I don't know. It absolutely didn't affect the quality, though. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.Oh, and pneumatic plungers. At least in the men's room. What a time to be alive!

The staff are amazing. I'd wait for hours (I've never had to wait more than 25 minutes) just to see their smiling faces. The food? Heavenly. I don't even like breakfast foods, but I love grumpy's breakfast <3 10/10 thank you for treating me like royalty.

Best breakfast I've ever had and that's a fact jack. Highly recommend. We will be going back. The Fried Green tomato egg Benedict sandwich was out of this world. If you haven't been here what are you waiting for.
