last friday night i went to firehouse.there was an older lady who looked stressed so i let it pass because its been a long day however she very much snapped at me about my order. After me there was an older black man and the assume manager made a snarky joke saying “pull the tip jar back” which made me very much embarrassed that i didnt say anything but also made me hurt for the guy. for Firehouse being a we care about everyone this women is making the name look very poor. not including the fact she made my sandwich very wrong but the sandwich itself took 30 minutes.unfortunately i will be questioning on coming back.
My go to is a large hook and ladder. It never disappoints. The cookies are good too. The employees are friendly and pretty fast.
Walked in and was greeted, but the cashier was very short and rude. Having conversations with coworkers and only speaking to me if she absolutely had to. My hook and ladder was literally thrown into a bag and looks like I was given a small instead of the medium I paid for. The workers were NOT professional at all and spoke very ignorant. I love Firehouse subs, but will avoid this location at all costs! Very disappointing!
Very little meat on sandwich. Bread hard. Slow service. Too pricey
Firehouse Subs has the best meatball subs in town. The sandwich is so big and full of meatballs, that it comes in a box. The store was clean, service was fast, employees were courteous and my sandwich was delicious (exactly how I ordered it too).
My favorite Firehouse location in Orange Park!! The store is always clean and the staff are pleasant. Anytime I have a hiccup on an order (and it's extremely rare) they fix it happily. Extra kudos to manager Ethan for his kindness and professional ethics. It's so refreshing to see a younger professional with his mannerisms in the restaurant business these days.
Staff is just oddly incompetent. Also the younger girl with buzzed and dyed red hair wiped her face with her gloves and kept serving food.
8 people waiting, 2 people eating, and only 2 employees during a lunch rush. One ringing people up and one making food. This place is so terrible. It’s also funny how they had to hire people to respond to these reviews, they must have gotten a lot of bad ones and now they’re trying to make up for being awful in the first place with fluffy worded responses that mean nothing.
