Great subs/salads and friendly staff. ?
So, I put in my Take Out Order for pick up at 1:10 pm. I battled the Xmas traffic and got parked. Walked into the location, to the Welcome to Firehouse greeting, and to a small line which was being taken care of quickly, but I didn't get the chance to wait to tell them I was there for pick up. Within a minute or two after 1:10, the sandwich was ready and they called my name. Explained that sandwich was in bag, as well as chips and soda. Very helpful. Got home in ten minutes, sandwich was still nice and warm from the steamer, and the sandwich was perfectly made fresh. Thanks for a great lunch!!
Went there at 3:30 aprox. The service was poor considering there was 3 people on prep station. The cashier talked so fast, I could barely understand her. There was no ice, and she made one of the preps to go for it. ?????? I was also asking for ? and she never told me they do not have. I never answered what kind of bread I wanted, but she decided for me. The tables and floor were dirty. That was my first time and I am very disapointed with this place. But, I have to say, the food was great?. Good taste, good presentation. I guess that give them some points.
We ordered our food and we asked for PLAIN subs and they got mayonnaise and lettuce on them after we simply said plain.The bread was very soggy almost wet.
Last 2 times I’ve been here my order has been wrong. One fully involved sub didn’t have Mayo, this time the steak and cheese with no peppers had peppers and again the Mayo was applied poorly. Won’t be eating here again for a while.
By far my favorite place to eat out! Delicious food.?
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Keith Addison.. I was craving firehouse so badly and I’ve enjoyed the new garlic spread they have so much.. Sadly I was informed that it’s no longer available but Keith overheard and made it happen!! I would also like to add that I came in 10 minutes till close and he didn’t hesitate to make my garlic dreams a reality!! That you so much Keith, see you again soon!!
Tonight I am reminiscing on a young boy named Colton who took my order s few weeks ago I remember this day very vividly. I ordered a hook and ladder with lettuce, tomato, cheese, oil and vinegar. He took my order perfectly and was extremely respectful! My experience was a 10/10 thanks to Colton and the other amazing staff at the Eagle Harbor store.
Be careful. On Sunday, May 30th @ 1:38PM the incompetent teenager at the Fleming Island store added mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and onion to my son’s sub. Every other time we’ve been there, the competent employee asked what we wanted on the sub. We did not realize that the employee had chosen to put mayonnaise on his sub until we had gotten down the road, and we didn’t have time to go back. Therefore, we had to throw it away. Firehouse, please make sure that your employees ask and don’t assume what a person wants. He ordered a turkey and cheese sub; that plain, not fully loaded. Guessing we should go to Larry’s down the street next time.
Great staff, good food. The manager last night got me to get double meat on the brisket sub. Wow that was well worth it!
