I had the pleasure of having a very attentive waiter in Lee. He know his stuff and was prompt with his service. The food was delicious and what I wanted and needed. The military discount is hit or miss with whom the cashier is but that didn't take away from my families enjoyment and satisfaction.

Server was Emily, she was very attentive and friendly! Didn’t receive biscuits or cornbread and food came out in less than five minutes so we were a bit skeptical. Some sides were cold and the country fried steak was hot but wasn’t crispy, like it had been sitting under a heating lamp, but was still very tasty. Nevertheless it was good and I enjoyed the mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and fried apples. Very friendly hostess and staff.

I was very disappointed with my food, and I eat and shop at Cracker Barrel all the time, and they didn't add my gravy for my country steak. Roast beef, (pictured) turnips greens, mashed potatoes and green beans.

really great service and food

they are short staffed right now, but all my meat, ham, sausage & bacon were over cooked. I purchased grandma sampler and my husband got the fried chicken and as we were ordering I mentioned the biscuits and we only wanted strawberry and blackberry jam, when we finally received our food we only received 2 biscuits! did I mention we sat there for 10 minutes before anyone came by for our drink order!

Stopped here at this cracker barrel location on our way back to Southern Florida after an extended trip in the North Georgia mountains for dinner. Not overly crowded even at 8:00 p.m. and well spaced between patrons we were greeted by an exceptional waitress who when initially walking by my girlfriend noticed her perfume and commented how she had loved it and also had the same. Our meals were delicious and affordable for the quantity of food you get as usual at cracker barrel. I however, had one of the newer items which I have only seen at places like Chili's. I believe it was called the maple bacon grilled chicken which comes with cheddar cheese. Man was I happy that I had ordered that. Not only was it good but it was exceptional and in my opinion was better than Chili's which I happen to love. That says a lot!. The mac and cheese and green beans were phenomenal as usual. With full bellies, we left satisfied and headed out on our remaining 5-hour drive.

I rarely go to Cracker Barrel but as a big fan of fried chicken, was curious about the billboard advertising their "Southern Fried Chicken" dinner. The cornbread muffins had good texture crisp on the outside and moist on inside in nice cup shaped muffins, bit they were neither sweet nor as flavorful, so I asked for honey and that helped a lot.The meal is well priced at less than $12 for 4 pieces, dark and light. I always prefer dark as light is usually too dry. I had mashed potatoes with brown gravy. The potato texture was smooth but flavorless and I was glad there was gravy, but just a moderate amount. The fried okra was ok.The chicken: heavy breading, prob wet batter. I'm not a fan of wet thick batter, I prefer a light crisp coating. As a result, the chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. It was hot, but didn't seem like it was right out of the dryer. It didn't have the consistency of a good brine soak either, as all the spices were in the thick crust. I think my best piece was the wing, which, due to it's size and coating, resembled a large misshapen chicken nugget. My two go to places for southern fried chicken, Hangar Bay Cafe and Shut Em Down have nothing to worry about.Service was friendly, but I understand most restaurants are short staffed so when I had to wait for drink refills due to our poor server taking care of a lot of tables I knew patience was a virtue.I'd go back but probably to get my go to fried fish instead.

After a 30min wait, we got seated in the midst of at least 12 (i counted) empty tables, and directly next to another family of four. Between my chair and the other woman next to me, there was about 2ft distance. We are still recovering, and honestly in the midst of a pandemic, yet for the ease of the servers families are expected to huddle into a corner of tables leaving the rest of the restaurant empty so we can be served faster. We walked out before our food could be ordered after the man in the family directly next to us started hacking up a lung. I had already asked the host if we could please be "socially distanced" and the young man just laughed it off. I hate it for the server as she was very friendly, but going out to eat is already risky right now, especially when businesses like this one aren't taking the necessary precautions.

Why bother going to Cracker Barrel anymore if they are going to drop multiple items/options from the menu and then refuse to make any adjustments to the limited options still left on the menu. 4 options for breakfast sides and that is it.

I went there this evening around 6:05 pm I was seated. Around 6:15 pm the server in the section next to mine came over and said she told my server I had been sitting for a while and she would get my drink order. 2-3 minutes after Stephanie came to the table. We eat here often so my husband and I ordered. She asked if we wanted jelly with the biscuits and I said yes. Asked about the flavor. I said strawberry. Drinks were empty while Stephanie cleaned table behind us, this was not acknowledged. When my food came out, it did not look like it normally does. I asked for extra sauce which she said needed to be warmed up. She asked what I had to drink and I said water. Sauce comes out cold, not going to put it on my warm food, I get another water...my husband gets nothing. No jelly for biscuits. No check back to see if we needed anything or if we were even okay. Another table is sat next to us...she greets them, gets drinks, takes order, another table sat greets them, gets drinks, starts taking order and my husband got up to ask for box and check. We paid the bill. I ask for a manager. After about 5 minutes Chris comes. I explain I am a manager of a restaurant, hand him my business card and he started to argue with me about whether or not the sauce was hot. He even said he can get a thermometer and temp it. Then looks at me and says so do you want me to comp your food? I said no, I'm a restaurant manager, he said...you already said that. My point is I don't think that discounting food is beneficial for the company because a guest was given poor service, I think an apology for my service and coaching for your staff would suffice. I am not trying to penalize the company...I just wanted acknowledgement and he was rude and disrespectful. I will not go as far to say I didn't get good service because I am black...but I will say I was ignored because my server saw no value in serving my table. I say this because she acknowledged and checked on the others that were literally a table over. I have a problem with this and I have a problem that the manager would not even allow me to talk, instead being defensive about the sauce he says he put in the ramekin (when I know it was not at 165 let alone 140) and disrespecting me as if I just wanted a free meal. This was not a reflection on cracker barrel, just a bad experience until he made me feel insignificant and disrespected.
