Hailey was great!!! Service fabulous. However, let customers know that you charge extra for every little thing. Celery used to come with wings, tell them if you now charge. Same thing for extra sauce for wings..really 55 cents!! Tell customers. However, service again made up for it! She was on her toes, busy busy and always smiling and on top of everything!
I went here to watch a baseball game on a Monday afternoon. I was very surprised at how busy it was. Right away I took that as a good sign. I had some wings and a drink. The wings are as good as advertised. The service was great also as I sat at the bar and was taken very good care of. I'd like to come back and try some of the other things on the menu.The kitchen and bathrooms were both pretty clean. The place was well staffed.
Last Thursday my Daughter and I enjoyed a great lunch outside before my cancer treatment. Our server was so sweet and gracious . Today we went there again after looking forward all week to another delicious lunch outside only to rudely be told they don't serve the tables outside. We were so disappointed as I can't be around crowds of people with my stage 4 cancer. I wish I knew the name of the server we had last week so I could call ahead to see if she's there. Unfortunately we will have to give up Big Dawg's and I will just be dreaming of that yummy pulled pork sandwich.
It was me and my husbands first time trying Big Dawg Wings. We have 2 kids so we try our best to find family friendly restaurants. I’m not so sure this place stays ‘family friendly’ after sunset lolI’m not so sure it’s completely family friendly during day time hours either. Our waitress was friendly, quick and attentive but the atmosphere wasn’t my favorite to have my kids in. With that being said, I don’t think you should pass this place up. The wings are absolutely FIRE!I got the Garlic Parmesan wings medium heat(shown in the photo)and my husband got the honey mustard wings. Both were great. We tried the mozzarella sticks for our appetizer but they weren’t impressive. We will definitely try a different appetizer when we go back. For $53 I think you get your moneys worth of wings.
It was packed on a Sunday early afternoon. If your ordering out.. sincerely call it in. The ladies where great taking my order, corn nuggets (delish), broccoli ? bite( crunchy but a bit too cheesy for me), wings (naked super crunchy!) Hot sauce was great, can't go wrong with ranch and am not sure if they make their own honey mustard, but it did taste like homemade deliciousness! First time for me and for sure I will go back! Great customer service! No pics the family was hungry?.
Today my job placed a pick up order with big dawgs. I ordered tenders to be tossed in sauce but when I got the tenders there was no sauce. No big deal, I called and they told me to bring the food back and pick up what I ordered. When I got there (with receipt printed from online) the bar tender told me that sauce comes on the side unless I click the “shake”options which her receipt wasn’t showing. she said that there was a side sauce but i told her the side sauce was for my co workers wrap that she ordered for herself. I told her we did click the shake option but she said no, we didn’t order correctly. I know mistakes happen but she was extremely rude & im a frequent flyer. I also went back online to see how we ordered it & it was ordered correctly the first time . it doesn’t let me add sauce without clicking the “want it shaken in sauce” option.
Was hoping for improvement from previous visit, only a few guests when we arrived with plenty of tables to choose from. Got drink order and then we waited, and waited. Finally drinks arrived and ordered lunch. By now place is filling up, thinking positively of things to come. Once our appetizer arrives (1/3 basket of fried pickles) which we shared getting about 6 while wife got 4. Then our entree comes, with my blackened (?) chicken sandwich came with a dried up piece of breast the size of a half a dollar and the bun stale and overwhelmed the sandwich. Funny thing we didn't see our server to check on us until we were long complete and dry without even a refill. We asked for check and we're ready to pay and get home to finish our lunch, but we again waited, and waited. Overall - major disappointment.
Food was below mediocre. Fish was burnt along with hush puppies. Coleslaw was bland. Good fries though. Service was friendly but slow (although it was busy), no one returned to ask for refills or anything really.
This place is a staple for us. The wings are big and meaty, and their choices of flavors is great. Tried a new one for me, Garlic Ranch in Medium. Good stuff, definitely going on the rotation of flavors.
The place seems dark, it's not visually welcoming. When we visited there were a few tables full and we sat right away. We were greeted promptly and received our drinks. We ordered wings and a shrimp basket and the food was great! Rating of 4 stars because of the dark atmosphere.
