Not our first time visiting a 4 Rivers Smokehouse but this location. The food was good, customer okay and sweet tea not sweet but if you are design some BBQ without the work this can be your go to spot! Food plus personality make any dish extra delicious so that why Im “ify” about today's experience! I'll come back and see if the weather had the staff in the blues!
Have you ever been to 4 Rivers? If the answer is no follow these guidelines:1. Go to the restaurant2. Do not think you need all of the bread sides3. Sides you should get: the collards and fried okra for sure4. Order the burnt ends melt or the messy pig5. Go wild enjoying this amazing bbq place6. Take a nap to recover from your food coma7. Go back again asap because you're now addicted
Great customer service and good food. I had a vegetable plate and my cousin had brisket. Both were very good but the thing that impressed me the most was the willingness of the staff to go out of their way to help me. I live out of state and accidentally left my favorite jacket at the restaurant. They had placed it in lost and found and when I contacted them they promptly returned it to me in a self-addressed stamped envelope that I provided. Now that deserves rave reviews!!
VERY, VERY GOOD! My husband and I shared a 1/2 rack of St Louis ribs. Fall off the bond and very meaty! We enjoyed sides of southern cole slaw, Mac and cheese, sweet corn and crispy bread pudding. Only complaint, Mac and cheese needed to bdd we warmed up. We will be back.
The food is delicious. The place was clean, considering that it's a cafeteria style restaurant where you carry your own trays. We had so much food leftover that for the price it was a great value.
4Rivers is an amazing establishment all the way around. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so nice. The folks who work there have incredible attitudes and love to serve those who patronize the business. Melissa King is a pure delight and my family and I love to eat here. Definitely go check this bbq joint out, you will not be disappointed at all!
Good food, got the burnt tips and they were awesome. The family did not enjoy it was much as I did but they kids just don’t understand how good the BBQ really was. I left full and super happy!
FOOL ME ONCE! This was an online order for curbside pickup. First let's get the good stuff out of the way....who ever did the branding for this place is brilliant! I enjoyed the brisket. It was flavorful and tender but was a little disappointed to learn that lean and moist meant meat with all the fat still attached. Okay.....now let's get to why I gave 2 stars. The menu read like the food was hand prepared and cooked on site. From the imagery on the menu, I knew I was in for a treat, but what I got was canned food. The collard greens were from a can. They added a couple chunks of meat to the greens but it did nothing to enhance them, I mean they're from a can!! The mac N cheese.....from a can. I also got fried okra which came frozen in a bag and they fried it. My husband got the 2 meat platter of brisket and sausage. They basically cut one sausage in half and then sliced it. It was placed in a 6 oz cup. The portions were very small for the amount of money we paid. We didn't get any sauce of any kind. The out of this world bread pudding made from Krispy Kreme donuts was nothing special and didn't contain a lick of vanilla sauce. I wish I'd read the reviews prior to going here. And honestly, I can't imagine why this place has 5 star reviews!!! Perhaps that was pre-Covid I dunno, but I do know that I'll never order from here again. Do yourself a favor and just go to Bono's BBQ or just buy some canned goods and eat at home!!
Just ordered this from 4 Rivers along with beans and corn. Shiii look like straight dog food! Will never order from here again!!!!!!!!!! 20 bucks for something that look like dog food and a Hawaiian sweet role
