What an amazing experience! Let me say this; get the beans and rice! They are packed sooo full of flavor. The sandwiches are incredible and it's obvious the chef and owner has put his heart and soul into this family business.Note: I would happily have the beans and rice for my last meal ? ?
Four of us stopped here after being over at Blue Springs to see the manatees, which we thought was the most amazing thing, but then to have lunch at the Tropi Shack added amazing to amazing. We all absolutely loved what we had, especially the Cuban wrap with the beans and rice upgrade. So good, and so worth the stop. You won't regret it!
This place definitely has five star customer service, but three star food, so I'm giving it four stars. They definitely don't have the "best Cuban" like family claim to, it was all right, but definitely not anything spectacular. As for the hot dogs, I'm not sure how they cook them, but they don't really have much texture, they could definitely use with some char or grill marks. The hot dogs are also overly sweet, and I wasn't super impressed with the size. I got the chili cheese dog, and the one with cheese and grilled onions, and either of these I could have made an entire batch at home with basic ingredients and tasted the same or better. I also got the pineapple sorbet and the passion fruit sorbet, but they were unexciting. Don't get me wrong, it was okay food. Just nothing amazing. I love the atmosphere, the customer service, the whole vibe, but the food is average.
Hands down best cubans around! Family owned with very friendly owners. Spicy rice is a hidden gem! Lots of menu options, that will leave you wanting to come back to try them all.
I've been coming here since I was little girl. Every Friday night my late mom and dad and I would share a banana split. Now I do the same with my kids. Their cuban's are unmatched and they are incredibly friendly
This was an Awesome place. Food was great, and the ice cream looked amazing. I tried the corn sorbet with cinnamon, wow! Definitely will visit again.
Cute place with delicious sandwiches and ice cream. Sat outside on a lovely day to enjoy the breeze. Easy and quick eats off the side of the freeway.
Stopped to have lunch. The shakes are fresh, handmade. Pre-dominately a variety of Cuban sandwiches and specialty hotdogs. The prices were very fair. Food made to order.

One of the best Cubans I've tasted outside of Miami. The homemade hot sauce pairs extremely well with the traditional Cuban.
