I came for breakfast based on a coworkers recommendation. When she said it's a small hidden local spot, she wasn't kidding. Supposedly the owner is originally from Long Island and Regan’s Orange City Kitchen (aka The Rock) os a family ruined business. It definitely has that New York style Irish feel to it. It’s a cute little restaurant that’s pretty no-frills. It’s basic and to-the-point, which isn’t a bad thing. The place seemed clean and well-kept. The service wasn’t anything to brag about. We ordered a bday breakfast of the eggs Benedict which comes with tomatoes and avocados with a side of home fried potatoes and bacon. It was good. My lady ordered the French toast with coffee. It was your basic French toast but I thought it was nice how the lady kept topping off the coffee over and over. Overall, a nice local spot with decent food but nothing to go crazy about. I definitely wouldn’t mind doing lunch or dinner to see how that fares.
I live in the area and decided to try a new place for my husbands birthday. I truly feel cat fished. Maybe it was just a bad day there but I won’t go back to try again. Ordered coffee, coffee cups had lipstick, got new cups which also had lipstick on it. Table felt dirty. Ordered our food, my kids ate 30 mins or so before we did because she said the cook got confused. 3 people behind us received food before us. Food was underwhelming . Biscuits very dry. I was just really disappointed.
Food and service was very good. It was our first time there meeting several friends for breakfast. Not a place for large groups but they were great at getting a few tables put together for us. We will be going back.
Not particularly noteworthy. I can understand being busy because it's breakfast time and being Sunday, but everything took way longer than any restaurant. We were there for well over an hour. Took about 10min to actually get drinks and over 40min to get food. Wasn't until the 20-25min mark that i was told that there wasn't any salmon for the dish I ordered. Fine, i wish i was told sooner but it happens. Ordered an omelette instead. It was underwhelming, especially for the amount of time to wait. Eggs weren't really seasoned, just tasted the cheese, home fries were hard (tasted no type of seasoning on them) and some of my toast was too burnt for me(i couldnt wait any longer for a fix). Maybe other people can enjoy their flavor, but my family and I were all underwhelmed
This was our third visit, and each trip was equally delicious. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Two out of three visits I ordered the Ruben sandwich, it’s absolutely amazing – melts in your mouth.
Went twice for breakfast! Quaint cozy, personal service with a smile. Their food was amazing as well!!! Highly recommend the Eggs Benedict with spinach and avocado! You won't be sorry!
There were only two parties myself included and it took over 40 min for us to get our food. And then on top of that they charged me for pancakes substitute instead of fries and toast. The food was okay. The hot chocolate was watery. Never again.
First time coming to this place and I am very disappointed. The service was horrible. The server and the manager were all over the place and not on the same page . Unorganized. The food took a long time to come out and our order wasn’t right. Tried to order a mimosa at the beginning of the visit the woman stated that they didn’t have orange juice . Blamed the owner for not buying the orange juice after he took a picture of what they needed. Before we left she decided to go and buy orange juice . Had to wait for her to come back to get our check. The upside is that she gave me a mimosa to go for free and the food was decent .
Heard about this little “Gem” before, so I decided to stop in and try it out. I WAS NOT disappointed!! The server was so sweet, and so on top of things, my coffee was never low. She did mention she was new, but very helpful with the menu. I was having a hard time deciding, so she suggested a few things. I went with “The Henry”. Very delicious! I wish I could remember her name….?? Will definitely be back and hopefully she’s there!!
Best food in Orange City. Reuben Was so tender and moist I couldn’t believe it. And it was the biggest Reuben I’ve ever had. Other places they’re usually dry and a bit tough. Chocolate cake was out of this world.
