First of all the entrance door has dirty (hand prints) that must have been there for weeks or even months. The new self check out system asked me if I wanted to tip; for what? you do not offer the same service to the table. There were three families eating and one order to be prepared before mine, and they still got my burgers wrong. I u derstand the changes, but if you have less employees; because we take our own orders and you do not have servers, at least be attentive and clean the establishment.
I ran into a McDonalds last week set up the same. I do NOT like this new business model and will NOT be back. Why you ask? No more wait staff. All orders from the kiosks at the front. You may as well call it an Automat.
We were really looking forward to this place since we don't have one in our town. But...No more waitstaff. You order from a greasy kiosk screen.The food was good. Shakes were good. Lady that screams your order number, not so great for the atmosphere.
Do not use the carhop option in app. You tell them the shot number before submitting order. But one bring out your food till you call them to let them know you are there. Which not pointed out on the parking spot sign. Why do I need to call to let you know I am there if I gave you the spot number I'm currently at? Doesn't make sense. So I waited 20 min for now reason and they gave me my cold food that had been ready. Still look over 5 min after I called for then to bring it to me. Worst service tonight. Drive thru from now on.
The food is always good but the service is way too slow for the drive-through takes too long to get through it when they're not real busy or anything there's no excuse for that. They need to work on that and it could be so much better. Management needs to get it in gear and retrain the employees.
Usually only get Steakburgers and shakes. The food is almost always good.My problem on several occasions that when I order a double steakburger with cheese, No Ketchup, I never end up with the correct sandwhich!!! Tonight I ordered the sandwich (Double Steakburger with Cheese, no ketchup). The menu lists that a double steakburger with cheese comes with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and Ketchup.Just make the sandwich & don't add ketchup - not really hard.Well, tonight I didn't get ketchup, tomatoes or lettuce. I did get the cheese and pickles.Last time, I didn't get anything but a plain double steakburger - I didn't even get the cheese.☹Since this is a continuous problem I decided to write this review.
Food has actually gotten worse. Service is better however, now that it's a self serve joint rather than having servers. Weird little, old lady that screams your order number out.
Don't go to steak n shake anymore. They called this a double cheeseburger.
New: Awesome triple bacon steak burger...Almost always great food and always correct. Dining room open no wait on drive thru for lunch.Old: 4 stars. Food was good....but SLOW. Second time in a month it has taken 45+min to get food.
Very good fries and milk shakes. 9/10 mac and cheese.
