On the road in search of food at 12AM almost one. I’m pre-diabetic and I can feel when my blood sugar is getting ready to drop (and it doesn’t feel good); sadly, all the 24hour fast food joints, so happened to be closed. So, I was stuck coming here. Where their service is slower than a turtle because they don’t know how to work as a team. The “salesperson” Hailey disappeared for like 10 mins after taking someone’s order, then she reappears just to be lounging around “calling orders” so she says. Then, you got someone (Justine, I guess another “salesperson”) not doing anything, literally lounging just looking around- when they could help ring in orders. It’s not like you can order online (or else I would). And, when you try to call their number to order ahead no one answers (I tried 3x’s- nothing). Myself and another person were waiting for almost 15 minutes before I finally announce the two salespersons who were both lounging and doing nothing and asked if they could take our orders, to get an attitude and told that she was going to take our orders. When I told her she’s just sitting around doing nothing, when she could be using her time wisely and ringing up an order- she (Hailey) tried to argue back and twist things saying there’s people in front of me who need their food. I perfectly understand that, but my point is use your time wisely- people in fast food or food services really struggle with the concept of using their time wisely. Of course, my sugar progressively dropping at a little to do with my frustration, but also the lack of consideration and common sense, also poor team work. If this Hailey girl was really calling orders out to the cook line; Justine had no papers in hand or anything, was just sitting/ lounging right next to her. Why didn’t Justine be a good team player and take the orders? I’m not asking for your first born or you to magically skip the line and give me my food, but for you to use your common sense and time wisely.
The attitudes in this place are ridiculous. I came in to make a to-go order and was met with hostility from the young black girl with the septum piercing. When she finally comes to take me order she’s taking it down and seemingly uninterested in the customizations of my order. At the end, I asked her if she got the extra sausage and no eggs in my grit bowl to which she confirmed. I STILL tipped her even though she was EXTREMELY RUDE. I tipped on top of the 10% they automatically charge for to-go orders. When I received my food, there was eggs in my grit bowl and when I brought it to her attention she and the cook had an attitude. They then tried to skim me out of the extra sausage that I PAID FOR. Home girl need extra training on customer service forreal.
This Waffle House was clean and the staff was friendly and I noticed the cook was changing his gloves and the waitress was constantly washing her hands. My order was cooked to perfection.
Before the remodel I used to frequent this location often. Since then I can't seem to call in to place a to-go order. I, like several others out there I'm sure, just don't have the time to sit around while the food is being prepared because I'm on an extremely tight time schedule. The fact that you won't take to go orders anymore has now excluded you from the list of choices that I have in the morning.... You will missed. :(
Was disappointed of how dirty it was. It's a shame that after they remodel the place . They haven't kept it clean at all times. Their were lots of flies as well. I have been a few times after they reopen and it's a shame. Tables were left unclean for long periods of time while customers wait. Waffle station was a mess and all the hot sauce had no cap on them and flies landing on them. Maybe cameras need to be installed to see how management is keeping up with the place.
It has it ups n downs here. The text as bacon steak n cheese melt is bomb but u wait 40 min just to order then another 30 for food I use to work in a restaurant n nursing home as a cook n super slow
I wish I could put zero stars. This place was super dirty. We waited standing up for about 30mins due to all the tables being dirty. The employees just watched us standing there and took their sweet time so we just sat down at a dirty table. The waitress came over and told us rudely to stand up so she could clean it. Her rag was so dirty it grossed me out we couldn’t eat there we just left. The floors looked disgusting and so did the tables.
Food is good but no online ordering and the employees will NOT answer the phone if you call. Disastrous management.
This location has really improved. Previously, about 4 months ago when my family and I ordered, it took the employees 40 minutes to make our food to go and it was burned. I have patience so I wasn't upset about the time but I was disappointed my food was burned. Okay so I gave the employees some grace because at that time, no one wanted to work, the location was getting slammed with people pouring in, and it was only two male employees on duty that day. Fast forward till about 1 week ago, the location was clean, quick, and most of all my family and I food was delicious and our order was accurate. Keep up the good work guys.
Had a extremely long stressful day. So I got Waffle House.The girl working today said I should get theTexas bacon steak n cheese melt plate. With lettuce n tomatoes n onions so bomb needed something to make me feel betterShe needs a raise on this meal lol
