Twistee Treat on College Road in Ocala is a great place to go for quality ice cream and cool treats when you need them. I really like the location and it is easy to get in and out with exactly what you need. The staff here is very accommodating and makes sure that you have everything that you need.
Had a need for a good old fashioned malt and Twisted was close by. Ordered from a very obliging server who seemingly could not believe that all i wanted (out of their vast number of ice cream and toppings flavors) was a vanilla malt. She made it apply and quickly and it was excellent! have been back twice since, kind of an end of week treat.
My kids love going to get ice cream from the "ice cream man".. That's what all the kids call them. A little hard to find but if you know the area you know exactly where he is..
