Roxanne is a top notch waitress. She was knowledgeable of the menu and offered good suggestions. I ordered the dragon roll with tempura on top sided with spicy mayo. For my second roll I got a spicy mayo crab roll. Both were great. ?
Miso soup was served far from hot but tasty.Sashimi selection was deceiving... on 15 pieces, 6 were the same.Specialty rolls : rock and roll was VERY ordinary; should not be in specialties or needs to be improved. Crunch roll was goog though.
Here for Father's day. First time here for lunch. Great service. Excellent food. No Bento boxes on menu though.
We had sushi, but there were others enjoying the hibachi tables. Portions were a little less than we are used to, but for the price, a fair value. Everything tasted great, albeit there were temperature issues. Only other problems were that tables were really close to each other and we felt tight. Service, though friendly, had issues. We ordered two apps to share among three of us. Only one arrived. Veronica informed us that we didn’t order the second one. I beg to differ, but didn’t make a fuss since our entrees arrived practically on top of our app. Service was rushed at every step, even when there were many empty tables. We felt pestered, and really didn’t delay or overstay at all. Recommend you reserve placing your dinner order until apps arrive. Solid meal but almost felt like fast food (Sunday at around 6)
It was very crowded on a Monday night, so we opted for a table. Food came out delicious with ordered specialty rolls at the suggestion of our very knowledgeable waitress. I love the teriyaki fish dinner. Best ginger dressing for the salad I ever had.
This place never disappoints. They have even more sushi rolls then are listed on the menu if you ask and everything is fresh. Love their garlic edamame its so good! Servers are always friendly. I miss Tony and his wife is great! Feels like family there every time i go. Only one con and that's the single stall bathroom, time to upgrade to more. Otherwise, this place is amazing!! Food is always great!
Haven't been to Tony's in about three years, wish I hadn't bothered again. We were seated immediately but waited at least ten minutes to be acknowledged, and the restaurant was only about half full. Another ten minutes to get drinks. Another ten to get our order taken. The menu hasn't changed at all apparently in those three years, and it seems like it's stale - nothing new or exciting in sushi, no mango, no lemon, pretty much just the same old same old. Sushi up in about 15 minutes. Usually sushi is vibrant, exciting and served beautifully with obvious pride. The rolls looked anemic, were just plopped on the plate, and were rolled large - so large and loose that everything fell apart trying to eat it. Adequate taste but definitely nothing that would make me choose this restaurant over several other sushi places. Server never brought plates, nor did the person delivering the sushi, had to get them ourselves. One check back by the server about halfway through, two drinks refilled. A third server brought the check and collected. All in all terribly disappointed in the entire experience, and we won't waste our time or money going back.
We had 8:15 reservations and waited till 9:15 and still were not seated. Left and went to another resturant. Poor management last night managing reservations.
