Beautiful place, friends live there
Waited 25 minutes for a table inside only to be told after 25 minutes we could only sit outside. Sat outside and killed bugs for over 30 minutes. New server, not his fault. He wasn’t properly trained and was given over 5 tables. Sat at the table for 30 minutes, placed order but never received anything not even water. As we were leaving the hostess asked if we had paid…um for what? They should pay us for being pest control. Terrible. Hope they get it together.
The menu is limited. I wouldn't spend my money on a steak as my experiences have been terrible. It isn't a "destination" restaurant, more like a sports bar. A work in progress I hopeUpdate: the Club has a new manager and a relatively new chef. The menu is still limited but I hope a work in progress. We haven't been there much but I see more positive feedback from other members. New Manager is a go getter, huge improvement there.
Always.good food and drinks
We, a party of nine women, were excited to return to the Salted Brick restaurant of Ocala Preserve in Ocala, FL. Because of shutdowns and all that went with it, it was along time between eating there. A couple of us had never been there. The service was very good, the ambiance was good and the food was very good. Chef Blake made an appearance and we were appreciative. We were there at lunch. The menu was very satisfactory and interesting with our choices being Salmon Salad to Frittata to Hamburgers to Quesadillas. We all felt we could come back to lunches and dinners with no apprehension about it still being a class A place to eat. Thanks, Salted Brick for a great all-around experience. We recommend it,!
Salted Brick restaurant, so so food
This is a lovely restaurant in the gated 55t community. The restaurant is overlooking the outdoor veranda & pool area. This was our 2nd visit, & the experience was just as nice as the first time. The food was very good & the service was great with very friendly waiters. We will be going back.
Beautiful place! Great management and staff. Will return.
We reserved a table for five at least ten days before Mother’s Day and specifically requested patio seating, as I did not want to take my elderly parents to an indoor restaurant. My request was happily acknowledged at that time. The restaurant then called me two days prior for Mother’s Day to confirm our reservation and I again specified that we had outdoor seating, which the restaurant confirmed. We arrived at our 1:00 reservation today, elderly parents in masks in tow, and the woman at the desk showed us to an indoor table. I told her that we had reserved an outdoor table and that it had been confirmed twice. She said “we have no patio tables available” and that “I didn’t confirm that for you.” I told her we had reserved patio seating and that we were not going to sit inside. We went back to the desk and she said “if you will calm down I will see if I can find something outside.” I had not raised my voice but I was pretty firm that we were not going to sit inside after confirming outdoor seating twice. She went to the patio and came back to seat us outside, where there were no less than FOUR empty tables. She told me “well there might be a delay because we changed your section.” The food was good and our waitress was great. There was no delay. This woman at the front desk lied about our reservation, lied about the availability of outdoor tables and was a snot.
A little pricy but good food and good staff. Great views for patio diners. Very clean. Friendly and comfortable. Never felt rushed. Recommended.
