I love this place!! Nondescript building in a nondescript spot. Just an old fashion Florida block building with the name painted on the exterior graffiti style. I've been there several times for lunch on Wednesdays with our motorcycle group. The half sandwich and fries are awesome. I'm a big eater, there's no way what they call a half sandwich is actually a half sandwich. The salads are mountainous, loaded with all kinds of good stuff. So anyone can give you a lot of food, but here you're getting lots of food that's really good. We were a group of 10 and everyone enjoyed their meal. I saved the best for last,,,, This place has THE best service I've experienced at a joint like this. Everything comes out hot and the orders are always correct, water and tea refills happen before you can ask. I gave it 5 stars, not because it's a 5 star restaurant but because it is exactly what it's supposed to be. A great lunch spot where you can hang out with friends and family.
We have been twice with several friends and the food is very good. Everyone loved the selection and the quality. Service was over the top, we are looking forward to our next visit!
Easily one of my favorite places to eat in Marion County! Big portions for small prices keeps me coming back. The service can be a bit slow sometimes and the interior is a little dark but the food more than makes up for it. Never had a bad item on the menu and the food has never disappointed! Love giant burgers? The Belly Buster lives up to its name.
I’ve ordered to go from this place several times in the past, when I used to live around the corner. They had excellent food then. This visit I actually ate inside. The staff were very friendly, comfortable atmosphere, and still the food was delicious. They serve generous portions and at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be returning again.
My son took me here today for a couple beers along with, the biggest and best Philly cheese steak I've had in a very very long time and yummy onion rings.I will definitely go back and recommend y'all.FYI Come hungry and wear loose fitting pants.?
terry's was recommended by a friend so my wife and I decided to visit this afternoon. My fried was right, the food (we shared sirloin tips) was perfectly done medium and a very handsome portion. The salad was fresh and chilled and plenty of it. We shared fries that were done crisp and hot not greasy. The dinner came out very quick on server Harmonie was great, she was always there when we needed something. We had an excellent dining experience and would highly recommend visiting.
A friend said we needed to try Terry's, and they were right! The service is quick, the atmosphere is happy and the food is the best we have had in a long time! Portions are generous, and the prices are affordable. Do not miss their famous burgers and their steaks. The beef is so flavorful, you will be coming back for more! On our list of favorites, for sure!
With all short staffing aside, service was extremely terrible. In over an hour wait for food I only saw my waitress, Harmony, maybe 3 times and finally got a drink refill after waiting too long. She never got anything I asked for like sides of sauce etc. Other waitresses talked to the customers just any kind of way. I cant believe how horrible this place is run.
We heard about this place from a realtor while we were house shopping in Ocala. We weren't able to get by at the time but we were in the area visiting Silver Springs so this was close by. DO NOT let the idea of it being a "bar and grill" throw you. I'm sure the bar portion is nice enough...it had a decent crowd. But the restaurant food is amazing. The portions are HUGE! And the price can't be beat! We had steaks that were perfect seasoned and all the trimmings we're delicious (and HUGE). We saw three people (obviously regulars) order one fish dinner with two sides and split it three ways. We took leftovers home for sure! Our waitress was absolutely great. Several of the staff checked on us during our meal and they didn't sound as if it was expected of them. They seemed to enjoy being there! Love the place. Even sent a text to the realtor telling him thanks for recommending the place. Definitely be back!
Went on a Friday night. We were seated almost immediately. Three of us. One local who has eaten here many times. Raved about the food. Two NJ residents visiting. Our order was taken at 7:15 pm. Food did not arrive till 8:45 p.m. if we were in NJ we would have walked out after an hour. However, the food was good. The waitress was extremely helpful and apologetic. Wasn’t her fault. Kitchen problem. I realize help is hard to find. If you pay them enough, you can find someone to work for you. We were not given any additional discount on our food. We had a 15% coupon. Also, salad was missing. Had to take that to go. Not satisfied at all. If we would have received some compensation for our long food wait, this would have been a better review.
