First time here and it was just, eh. I read the reviews and was hyped from the start but after going in, I was a little disappointed. I was hoping for one that their soup bowls had more flavor but they were too bland for my liking, and two, their chicken was too chewy. It was okay, but I have other favorite Chinese places so I won't be going back.
Love the Thai tea here food is amazing and I love how you can choose between veggies, protein, and noodles looking for different and clean eating this is the place to go...??
i got 2 chicken wings lunch speical and i got home the food was very over cook.chicken salty the yellow rice was try i didnt ask for yellow rice and when i called the manger had an nasty attuide she ask if i would come back up there i said no and she keep saying i should
We had eaten here before and it was great. Last night, not so much. Both mine and my husband's chicken was so hard and crisp I could hardly eat it. Was definitely left in the fryer for a long time. Really hoping this was just a fluke. I've found places with better prices and same quality in the area so I'm hoping next time is better or we will be frequenting another restaurant.
This is the second time we purchased food from this establishment, both times it was awful. The fried rice, Pad Thai lacked flavor and the fried dumplings tasted like rubber. Very disappointing!
Hands-down best Chinese food in Ocala! I have tried many different Chinese takeout restaurants in search of that New York City Chinese food I love and miss… Tasty ball hit the nail on the head! Awesome pork fried rice, awesome sesame chicken, wonton soup on point… Eggrolls on point… Very happy customer! They even gave us some extra food on our Christmas order! Above and beyond.
Today is December 17th 2021, I went to Tasty bowl and ordered a chicken chow mein combo. While I was eating the meal I noticed that the rice was very crunchy and not cooked all the way. I contacted the restaurant and the restaurant manager said that the only way they can do anything about it is I would have to bring the food back to the restaurant for them to verify that I'm not lying and trying to get free food. Don't get the Mapo Tofu. Not Authentic. Has peas, carrots, and the same sweet brown sauce they probably put on twenty other things on the menu. no meat, obviously no chilis and/or sichuan peppercorn, and certainly not spicy (and I specified extra spicy) or having the mala flavor profile at all. For a 12 dollar+ meal I expect a bit more. Two stars for this item without considering the rest of the menu. Would have been one star, but at least it was edible and not completely disgusting. There may be other things that are worthwhile, but I will not be coming back to find out, as I continue my search for authentic recipes at a chinese take-out restaurant
I have been ordering food from them over a year now and have never been disappointed! I love the business and the owner is very kind.
