We ordered food on Mother’s Day evening and we were not given what we ordered. We ordered bean burritos and they had no beans in them. It was ice cold. One of them came with onions and cilantro which I am allergic too. These were probably made the day before. They also charged for anything extra. I called and explained this to the owner and he said bring the food back the next day if you want a refund. You don’t get what you pay for at this establishment. Run run run from this place.
The staff was very nice and welcoming but the location during certain times can be a bit sketchy. Unfortunately, the food we had which was mostly a variety of tacos to go were just okay…. I did finish what I purchased so they are edible but they weren’t to the point where I would go out of my way to have food from this restaurant.
It's Mexican food is okay. I'm from San Diego. So I've had my share of the best Mexican food this side of the border. This place is the best I've had in Ocala. Service was great. The time it took for my food was about 15 minutes for two burritos. So you better have some time. Parking is horrible. Overall 4/5
Service was great. I ordered the queso, big burrito, jalapeño’s grilled. Everything was delicious and proportions were good.
First, this location is rough. I've tried this place two or three times in the past few years, but I can never seem to get into or out of their parking lot without major difficulties. IDK maybe I'm just not a very good driver.Second, their prices are ridiculously high for the food they are serving. Everytime we've been here we've ordered two burritos and two tacos, and the check has always been right around forty dollars.Third, the food is decent, pretty good, and not too bad. What it isn't is in anyway exceptional or memorable. In conclusion, It simply is not worth it to eat here. I'd rather go to a restaurant, that I am easily able to access in my car. Also if I wanted to spend $40 I would go to Outback steakhouse, and get a couple steak dinners. Thanks, but no thanks Taco 'N Madre.
Service was slow, salsa is basically tomato sauce. The barbacoa tacos had no texture to it at all it was like mush. The rice was overcooked also like mush. The refried beans had no taste. Most places give chips and salsa if you eating not here and bagged chips. The tortillas are made fresh they were good the tea was good they brought 2 little tiny cups of real salsa for the tacos actually looked like fresh made salsa. 40$ I won't go back. Hacienda is so much better. Please do authentic real Mexican food somewhere.
Taco 'N Madre on Pine Avenue in Ocala is a great place to go for delicious Mexican food that is well prepared. I really like all of their menu items and good everything here tastes. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need.
Very good food, and the prices are amazing. You can feed you whole family, for cheap and delicious.Monday Jan 31/2022
Love it, big portions and really well cooked meals. Whenever I am by that side of town and I have time I definitely stop by.
I honestly don’t understand the low reviews regarding poor service. The staff is friendly and clearly doing the best they can in a time where employees are hard to come by. The food is authentic and delicious. I recommend.
