Waking in it is vibrant and relaxing. It’s a relaxing environment but then disrupted by the host reluctant for you to be you seated(there is no welcome in) immediately are you ready?Which is understandable but it being a Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock why rush? The food came in the orderly fashion, I got the chicken hibachi. But as you can see in the picture, The chicken is hidden by the vegetables. It being not a lot. Constantly walking back in forth to not fill up my drink but to watch meOverall, the place is nice but I am a college student wanting to try something new and felt unease but felt rushed maybe by my appearance or age
This restaurant is so beautiful and the food is so good but I have to give it a 2 stars because every single time I've been here the staff is very rude. Yesterday our waitress slammed our chop sticks down and after she brought us our food never came back. We were out of drinks and needed some sauce so we didn't even get to eat all the food we ordered until we got home. Of course though I will keep eating here because the food is amazing but the staff makes us always feel very unwelcomed :(
There special roll was a dud. I got the maki lunch with a tuna avocado roll and eel avocado roll. They were great. They had very light rice around the edges and a lot of fish and avocado. I really wanted to like the bistro roll. It was very pretty and had alot of good fish in it. Unfortunately the fried lobster was overdone and very hard. It was so overdone that the flavor took over the roll and tasted burnt. Now that was the end and probably the worst part, but when I spend $20 on a roll I shouldn't tatse that.
Great Sushi and Udon Noodles. We had the Thunder Roll, Broadway Roll and Steak Udon Stir-fry. All were excellent we actually were going to eat there again but they are closed on Sunday’s.
Best sushi in Ocala in my opinion the hibachi chicken is delicious and the chicken tempura roll is my favorite. Very good.
Sushi Bistro is the best place to get sushi in Ocala FL
Good food but if you spend nearly $100 on food you'd expect it all to be there. Forgot 2 items on my order. Might think twice ordering from here again.
The food is amazing good!!Great quality and so abundant ❤️
So, this small Japanese restaurant by far tops my list for Asian cuisine. I've only ever been to "Chinese" buffets with American fare before and never into a truly Japanese establishment. When I walked in I totally dropped the ball and fumbled around like a high school freshman. However the sushi bar attendants and waitresses made me feel understood and very welcome. I'm now a fan of hibachi fare, they make quality food and the price is criminally low. Never seen such quality for 20 dollars. That's how much a mcd's Neal would cost where I'm from and the food at the bistro is far superior. Caint wait next time to try some sushi here. I recommend this place if you are visiting downtown ocala.
Very disapointing all the way !First, I called to book a reservation for 2 at 7h00pm and they say they don't do reservations but it's not busy, I could just walk in...Second, we got there and, surprise, line up... we had to wait 20 minutes to sit down...Third, the service was cold and roughFourth, the miso soup was as cold as the service and pretty tastelessThe specialty rolls were just ok... 2 different kinds (The Alexander and the Downtown) and they tasted pretty much the same. Will go back to Aki Sushi instead next time, way better tasting, wont waste my time and money here again.
