Love the lay out of this course. Even though it is layer out between homes, it still has wide fairways. It was touch and go on our foursomes choice for Monday rounds this winter and spring, but management has done a great job and restoring the tee boxes and fairways. With the exception of #10, we love every hole. They don’t beat up seniors like many in the county and make around very enjoyable, especially when it afford so many par and birdie opportunities to brag about.
Greens are in poor shape especially considering they were just rereached. Fairways are a combination very tight lie and hardpan. Tee boxes are mostly bare.I don't know if just letting the grass grow for a while would help, but right now it just isn't fun to play this course.
Went here with my grandfather & he was appalled at horrible use of space combined with the aura that surrounded it in a county with 2k+ people without a home. This land could be used to house the houseless. Just a thought.People here were quite short & snub, unless you're some Austin Powers Goldmember. Other golfers were kind to my grandfather until they realized he was an O.G. member of an ultra secret Anti-fascist club known as veterans.Fake lookin' grass that has so be watered & treated with chemicals so often I don't understand why they don't just grow native grass?!Putt-putt in Alachua County was wayyy more enjoyable, took up a lot less space & guests didn't complain when I sparked up my medical. ✌?

The Restaurant was excellent, the food was good. Will go back to eat lunch.

Had the fish fry. Very good taste, crunchy batter as it should be. Seated quickly and our waitress was attentive.
Very unfriendly attitude toward handicapped golfers. If you’re disabled don’t play at Summer Glen. They don’t want you there.
What a joke closed all summer for new greens opened up and they have issues already........Spend you money somewhere else..........Im a secret shopped......and you'll be glad you did.........btw review the golf course here not the restaurant It has its own page stop propping on the golf course with false reviews that are not about the course.........
