Been here maybe 3 times in 3 weeks. Fresh bread, incredible smoked meats, Cole slaw was just like it was made minutes ago as it’s so crisp. Baked beans so delicious you thought you were eating a families secret recipe!! The staff is awesome. Julie was our person and like so many here, very nice and fun person to chat with as we enjoyed our meal.

Clean, friendly service, tasty food and plenty of it. That about sums it up! We enjoyed baby back ribs, smoked chicken, and rubbed ribs. Fall off the bone, smoky good and chewy ribs we had it all. Great BBQ beans, cole slaw, and corn bread made it complete. Even gave us drinks to go.
Ordered sliced pork, was brought pulled pork instead. I don't have it often, but instead of sending it back thought I'd try it. It looked like it was mush, that was sitting in a vat for a couple days, tastes about the same. Ate half of the sandwich and have up. Fries were great as usual, fried Okra was very good as well as the ranch. Service was pretty good.
Very good food and ambiance. However, the staff is a bit dense and could be more attentive to the customer when seating them.Group orders:Cuban, tots, fries, and pulled pork sandwiches. Every bit was consumed, it was savory and moist without the BBQ I would really recommend it!
The desk clerk at the motel recommended Sonny’s as we wanted something close. We were seated immediately and had very nice service from Alex. She brought our drinks immediately and had some suggestions on dinner. We ended up with order of wings which OK. We are serious wings people and these were just average. We had the extra meat pulled pork sandwich on garlic bread and a side of delicious slaw, The pork was a large portion but perhaps a little dry. There was assorted sauces on the table. Sonny’s was close to motel which we wanted after driving all day. The best we can say is meats were just ok.
We enjoyed your sliced pork bbq plate. Tables were all taken, so instead of waiting we opted for seats at the bar. Great choice! We went from possibly being hangry to actually being Sonny's sliced 'q satiated in no time..
Love the all you can eat ribs...the dry rub is unbelievable..still the best dry rub st Louis ribs on the planet..the baby backs were great..my wife likes them with no extra sauce

I ordered the sampler dinner and there was so much food I was able to eat the rest the next day for lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. The whole restaurant was clean and super relaxed
