Went to drive thru. With 5 cars ahead of us it took 20 minutes to move up to order our food and another 13 minutes to pay and pick up. I specifically asked for cocktail sauce, she said sure we can do that. I did not receive that in my order, to add insult to injury, I did not get a fork for the Mac n cheese or napkins. No apology for long wait times. Popcorn shrimp was okay.
They put the sandwich directly inside the bag without any napkin or normally it is wrapped with foil like wrapping. i did not check it anymore since the line in drive thru is long that time. So disappointing.
Real slow service. More than 5 people left including me because there were taking to much time to take orders and dispatch food. I can understand that there is shortage of staff everywhere but there were around 8 employees or more and it seems to me that they were slowing down so the people leave. At least show that you actually care and give a good face to the customers and not this face li I hate every single person in the line
It's Sunday afternoon at around 3 pm. I've been in line for 20 minutes and just finally got to order. The lobby is closed so I couldn't go in. I sat at the speaker for 6 minutes before someone took my order. If they're going to close the lobby they could at least employ enough staff to assist thier customers in a timely manner. If the chicken wasn't so good, I would have left.
Food was dry. Tasted like it was a day old. Drive thru was the only thing available. Not allowing customers inside. Backed up really bad with cars waiting for service. What is the deal here. If the food was delicious like the other Popeyes are I could understand. I was truly disappointed. Never again am I going there!!
I don't expect much from popeyes but tonight takes the cake. I waited in line for 30 minutes and when I got to the drive through window I had to repeat my order 5 times and even give them my phone since I ordered through the app and got a confirmation that my food is ready. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes the lady employee at the drive through window was so confused and could not find anyone's order. She did not know how to operate the POS and kept calling for help. When i finally got my order and went home I was so disappointed. All the chicken was dry and I could not eat it. I almost choked on the chicken being so dry. The biscuit was cook good on the edges but in the middle was doughy and chewy. It's sad to see what this place has become. I pass this restaurant daily and it keeps going under everytime I go there. I think this will be my last chance with this place. Burger King across the street or McDonald's next door is a okay alternative.
Lobby was locked and no visible signage until we pulled on the door. Drive thru was efficient and the chicken was tasty. I just don't prefer to eat in my vehicle...
This place is the slowest, they can only take one order and fill the order at a time. If you are white, don’t bother going. They will make you wait at the window for your food and say chicken is cooking and park you. Meanwhile all black people are getting their chemical orders. I was left parked for more than 30 minutes after waiting 20 to order and then 10 minutes at the window. Everyone else behind me that was black got their orders. Racism at its finest!
Went to the drive through to order 16 piece meal. The price listed on the drive through menu states $35.99. got to the window to pay and the cashier said it was $52. She was puzzled herself because I asked if she had my order right. She grabbed the manager on duty and they said the prices on the drive through menu were the old prices.Very incompetent, unprofessional and very poorly managed. Prices are deceiving and do not reflect the newly over inflated price. Needless to say, I cancelled my order and left. Child please
Popeyes located at 2175 SW Highway 484, Ocala FL, 34473 is the worst and poorly managed location ever. There is always an issue at this location such as out of chicken, old chicken, debt machine not working, dining area closed during normal hours of operation,etc. This evening It took me close to 30 min just to get through the drive thru. I understand the pandemic has made things rough for all of us. But this location has struggled long before the pandemic was heard of.So I get home only to find out that I waited for almost 30 minutes for this old looking, over cooked chicken.?
