The service here is awful. Their outside order mic was broken so I went inside. No big deal, it happens. BUT. It took me 45min to place my order inside despite being 3rd in line. I was at the register for nearly 25min. Why? Because they let door dashes/people claiming door dash cut the line. A good 15 people had their orders taken ahead of me while I was at the register.
I love Popeyes !!! I went to the one on 40 by the highway. I usually go to the one on Pine Ave I just happen to be up there nice modern Popeyes but the line was going out the door waiting for orders , I waited like 10 minutes then had to leave for my apointment...So no Popeyes for me today.
The food was good but the soda machines did not work ? blah. I need soda with my chicken but it's okay they had a back of tea for me and lemonade for the hubby and son. Nice save or I would have been mad.
Servers had a great attitude. In particular, Ruth was amazing and helped me with the right mindset every time I went up to the counter. Food was hot and delicious and just what I needed.
Ordered a 14 PC. Meal with 2 large sides. Only received 7 pcs. And the Cole slaw seemed to be made with paste. I shouldn't have to unpack my CARRY OUT order to make sure everything is there, especially after waiting 20 minutes to get it. If those are large sides with a 14 PC meal, everyone must only get a tablespoon.
Waited in the drive-through for about 10 minutes to place my order! Thought I would try some Popeyes chicken after many many years! Waited another 5 minutes for my order! Maybe all the Popeyes are like this not sure! I ordered nuggets and they gave me three pieces of chicken no silverware to eat my mashed potatoes and forgot to add the coleslaw to the order that I asked for! Luckily I had a spoon in my glove box I can use to eat the mashed potatoes while I was on the road but I definitely was missing the coleslaw and I would’ve preferred to have nuggets versus check in with the bone! The guy they gave me the order Was nice I just don’t know how the order got messed up, oh well better luck next time
Stopped multiple times at the Popeye’s on SR 40 in Ocala to find it closed early. Google maps and the website says the drive through is open until 11pm. Lights are on with employees inside and they yell out to the drive through ordering board that we’re closed at 10:30pm. ? I normally don’t like to post negative comments, but this has happened many times.
LOVE that chicken from Popeyes!!! Had the chicken sandwich at first it was cold but the manager made meat fresh one which was delicious. They were really busy so the wait for the fresh food is why I gave it 3 stars. Employees were pleasant.
If I could give 0 on their service I would because the attitude the ladies on the drive thru are so mean. They will ignore you at night even when their false advertisement says is open till late 11:00 pm. I got there and they were ignoring me I just needed a small order for a client. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU ARE HIRING!!!
The manager they have working there, he’s a man, is rude as hell. You could hear him screaming at employees from the drive through window. (Oh also, they only have the drive thru open, but no signs pointing to that).
