The food was very good but a little pricey. Our server was relatively new and there were some struggles but it all got sorted out in the end. The gator bites were not worth the price to be completely honest. It was a very small portion for $12. We do plan on going back as there are some Irish dishes on the menu we would like to try.

Good menu and draft beer selection but unfortunately there was a ton of flies buzzing us the whole time we were eating! Super annoying but otherwise everything was good

You’ll see from the pics, a lot of leaking going on. They do have buckets set for this so that’s good. My wife said her food was good but I thought the philly and fish taco were mediocre. My son also said the taco salad was ordinary and unappealing. The server was not attentive at all. We might have bought more drinks or tried dessert. We had to get other staff to get her for us. Maybe poker night is not a good night to go there. It was a Wednesday night.

Jessica was my server last night and she was awesome! Also the wings and tots were perfect. I was there with some coworkers and unfortunately one of their cars got hit in the parking lot while we were inside eating… one of the other servers came in and let us know and helped us out and apologized even though it wasn’t her fault whatsoever. She was great. I’m new to Ocala and will for sure be coming back soon

The food was really good we had the giant pretzel w/2 dipping sauces (yum!), the gator bites (very good, but very small quantity) bone-in, fried teriyaki wings, onion rings, and the herb crusted pan seared fish, on fried rice and garlic green beans (they were the skinny French style w/ham pcs but couldn't taste the garlic) they were ok. Fish was light and flakey, rice was yummy.

This place used to be the tilted kilt, and now it's just tilted. They never have enough servers, certain bartenders would rather chat then make drinks, and your always waiting, or looking for someone to help you. The food is sub par, with some of the menu being above par. Pizzas are good, nice dough. Fish and chips are a staple if you call yourself a pub....this place should take it off the menu....it's mushy, oily, unseasoned, cat food. Very poor for a pub. Over all it's worth 2.5 stars, but I rounded up because I know it is tough trying to find people who wanna work. 3 stars is gracious.

We had a great first time experience at O'calahans. My MIL came into town and we wanted to try out a new place to eat. We certainly weren't disappointed. The food and drinks were fantastic and the service was great, too! We'll definitely be back!

I am a patient person. I am willing to wait because of hiring issues and weekends. But at 5 on a Sunday with half a dozen tables in the restaurant, waiting 29 minutes for our drinks was a bit much. Our food was pretty good. For the price, It was hard to stomach though. Paying $12 for a fried bologna sandwich that's as thick as the Oscar Meyers I use is ridiculous. Beside my wife having to go to the kitchen window to ask for things, and me having to go to other tables for condiments. I highly recommend that this restaurant is only noticed from a far and not tried...

Extremely disappointed in the quantity of food provided in my three takeout corned beef & cabbage meals. Each meal consisted of six strips of corned beef (3/4" x 3/4" x 3") with 1/2 to 3/4 of a boiled potato, a sliced boiled carrot and a narrow wedge of boiled cabbage for $15 per meal. Food was good but not worth the money for what I would consider a half order. My first, and probably last, visit. Too bad. Was expecting more, based on prior reviews.Update 3/20/21.My wife just made corned beef and cabbage with boiled potatoes and carrots in a crock pots with items bought from Walmart for under $20. Three hearty servings of corned beef and cabbage that we're awesome! Don't waste your time and money on O'Calahan's. Make your own! So much better!

Stopped in on St Patty's Day for a cocktail and to get our Irish on. Not happening at this place. The first thing we noticed was how busy the wait staff was and that regulars had positioned themselves standing at the end of the bar so that all wait staff had to do was constantly move around them. My wife made a comment that she thought that they were being rude and was immediately called a name by one of the regulars. I asked to speak to the owner and when he approached me, he stated that he did not hear the regular call my wife a name and then asked the wait staff if they heard him call my wife a name, and of course they stated they responded no. The owner's comment was "he comes in here daily and this is the first I have seen you so who am I going to believe." Seriously folks. Can't make this up. STAY AWAY unless you want a fight and then please beat the regular who called my wife a name that starts with the letter c and has four letters and ends with a t.
