The food is always great and the service super friendly. Everyone seems to know one another ( except me ). LOL If you are from the area, chances are you have eaten at or know about Northgate Diner.I had an English Muffin, Applesauce, Hot Tea, and Grits. I love that they pre butter the English Muffin after its been toasted. I must admit I was having a bit of tummy issues today or I would have ordered the French Toast since it's one of the best items on the menu, in my opinion. I have tasted various dishes, but the breakfast ones are definitely my favorites ?Prices are still affordable and portion sizes are generous. I must admit I have tried the grits on several occasions now and they aren't cooked long enough for my liking (just a personal taste/consistency thing everyone is used to them being cooked a certain way). Either way Northgate is definitely worth giving a try, who knows, you could even discover a new favorite meal that they can now prepare for you on a regular basis?
Im into a good breakfast and a big cup of coffee. This is the place. I like to get the fried bologna with my eggs perfect every time.... great lunchs too. home cooking at a home cooked price. A big thanks to Tammy and the crew. See U soon.

Found Northgate Diner when taking a drive. Great local place, friendly, great service. Prices are very good. Ate there three times, each time, waitresses fast, friendly and courteous. Food tastes very good. breakfast & lunch and serving dinners. open till 3 p.m. veteran's discount.

I've been here three, all for breakfast. First time, I ordered a biscuit with honey. The biscuit was hard, like it had been left out uncovered. Fail on the biscuit. I went a second time thinking the first was just a bad day. I don't recall exactly what I ordered, but it was a fail. This morning was the third and final time I will eat here. I went with my partner because of friend likes this place. But our friend covers up his food with paprika and cayenne pepper, so his taste buds are fried anyway LOL. I ordered one piece of French toast and one slice of bacon. The bacon was cold, and the French toast didn't have enough egg batter for that true "egg" taste, so it tasted like plain fried bread. While I may not have a choice of going here again for breakfast, I have a choice of where I cast dollar votes. I choose not to cast them here, and recommend you pass on breakfast here as well.

All you can eat. I love it. I like the regular fried and the Cajun . Omg it it ever delicious. 3 PM is closing g time so you have to get there before that. A d co.es with 2 sides.
