I Just left this establishment.(06/2022). I was disappointed with the service, as well as the food. My party & I ordered chicken & shrimp. NOT ONLY was my chicken fried Extremely Hard. Way too much exercise on my jaws…lol. Also My chicken tasted like the same oil used for the shrimp!! Seafood is a stronger taste; I thought it would have been COMMON SENSE to cook the chicken First! At least. Address Murphy, seemingly he is an more ignorant, unprofessional immigrant. Wasn’t THIS Establishment closed down for a period of time Before. Save your money and time.

Good place to stop off the highway. We had peel and eat shrimp and crab legs. Really good. Best thing about this place is Amine...our server/bartender. Best service anywhere and we've been traveling all over the east coast. I will come back just for his hospitality. He makes his cocktails with love!

We had excellent experience at Murphy's Seafood Restaurant. The food is perfectly cooked. The food portion is enough to fill you up if you are hungry. The waitress that served us did a terrific job. I give them a five star because of satisfaction experienced. I am 100% recommending to you to try them.

I was hesitant going to a “seafood” place in the middle of Ocala, but it was right next door to our hotel. Place was almost completely empty for a 6:30 pm Thursday night. The waitress recommended their special fish sandwich (which my wife got), and I ordered the phily steak sandwich (played it safe). Absolutely no taste to the food! Both meals were large in size and service was good, but food was disgusting … truth!

Great waitress! Husband said they had the best crawfish he's ever had. The philly steak was delicious! Big hotdog for the kids. And my buffalo wings were interesting but really good and addicting. It has to be homemade with a mustard base. They gave lots of the sauce and plenty of sides.Everything is pricy, but that's just the way it is these days.

This place had a great menu and good food. Offered both fried and broiled fish and seafood. Maine lobster surprisingly good.

Walked in to a few noise drunk locals monopolizing the bartender, Natalie's, time...sat at the bar with my wife for about 5 minutes until a nice server said the bartender would be with us in a moment...waited another 5 minutes while the bartender walked around , laughed with the locals, put things away, ...she finally came over and said she thought we were getting to go and the servers usually take care of that. We ordered a 40 bucket of raw oysters as an appetizer and a couple of drinks. The oysters came pretty quickly and had ice poured all over the top of them...we love oysters and eat a lot of them..so we quickly scraped the ice off the oysters so not to ruin the taste...sadly the oysters had pieces of shell in a lot of them and they weren't cut from the shell (weren't cleaned properly)...the flavor was very good though....we were going to order their super deluxe seafood bucket, but Natalie the bartender never asked us if we wanted anything else. She came over when we were done but we had already decided just to leave...she was singing and flirting with the drunk local guys down the bar and I had to try to get her attention to get my check. If the bar were full, I could have understood the poor service a little, but we were the only other two she had to take care of. We tipped her 20%...she didn't deserve it. With better service, she could have sold more food and drinks making the restaurant more money and couple have had a $50 tip instead of a $15. Long story short...we didn't get to try much of the food, they need to learn how to clean and serve oysters, and Natalie needs to learn how to manage her whole bar a bit better.

I want to like this restaurant more than I do. The oysters were phenomenal and the crab legs were decent but service was abysmal. Don't get me wrong, I understand that everyone's short-staffed so the wait to be served I can understand (we waited a half hour after beinf told to sit anywhere to be acknowledged) but our waitress continuously forgot our order, and in the most ridiculous ways. Like, why in the world would I have ordered 21 lbs. of snow crab legs for two people? And when I pointed out that she delivered us two dozen oysters instead of the dozen we ordered she tried to argue with us like we can't count. Hell, you didn't even have to count! You could eyeball it and see between the two platters there were easily 20 of them. Maybe she was new, but this last bit I can't excuse. We ordered two Modelo Negras and we get served Guinness. We tell her it's Guinness and she argues with us again! Later she comes back with the correct beers EXCEPT my partner notices his tastes off. He has a good palette so he picks up that it tastes like APPLE JUICE is in it. I tasted it and he was dead on. We will not be coming back.

This was our first time eating here and it's definitely our last. The waitress was nice. Now with that being said, the calamari was amazing and as you can see the Philly is huge and delicious. The gator tails were chewy and not seasoned and the gyro tasted disgusting. I asked the waitress to take it back and the owner came and wanted to know why I didn't want it. I told him the sauce tasted like dirty sink water and her responded he orders it. I informed him that's not how tzatziki is supposed to taste and I don't want a replacement. As you can also see, it was still on our bill, so I didn't leave a tip.

It's a nice place to share with the family; the food is delicious and its flavor incomparable. Thank you for making my afternoon wonderful. I recommend it 100%
