This is the best of tally and I've had in a very long time! And certainly the most authentic I've had in a long time! We had the Artichoke Francese for an appetizer. The artichoke was fried perfectly, and it was married with a very delicious sauce! Nothing that I would change about it! For dinner, we had Veal Parmesan (a classic) and the incredibly delicious, perfect pork shank osso bucco. The sauce was no doubt homemade and extremely delicious.I would like to add that the wine portions are very generous :-)And to top it all off, we had extremely friendly and on point service from Brianna and Eva. I would like to add that they also had a great sense of humor!When we are in Ocala again, we will definitely come back! (Please have the tiramisu next time! I can't wait to try it.)
Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had! My favorite Italian dish is cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce, and though that isn’t on their menu they allowed me to swap out the marinara sauce for Alfredo. It was DELICIOUS. They also had bread with the best olive oil dip I’ve tasted at a restaurant. The staff were all so kind and we will absolutely be dining in again!
First time at Marcelina’s was amazing Food and wine so delicious…authentic Italian, Large portions and pour… service even better! Relaxing and wonderful experience. we can’t wait to come back!!
The atmosphere is such an amazing theme. The music and the food is so amazing . The shrimp carbonara was so big and delicious.
We stopped for Dinner based on good reviews. The restaurant was nice, the service was slow, the food was okay. My wife's Grouper Francese was very good. My Marcelinsa's Combo was just okay. It tasted much too salty. So we were thinking this place is okay but maybe not terribly special. Before leaving we both used the restrooms. OMG. The men's was dirty, walls were quite beat up. The women's had a sewer odor. The restrooms made us question whether we want to give this place a second try. We wonder what does the kitchen look like after the restroom experiences?
Upon our visit wife and I requested tea as our drink and it all went down hill from there. The tea tasted like dirty dish water and I requested another drink but my wife powered through her meal without drinking hers. The meals were nothing special and the service was nothing really to brag about. The kicker was at the end when we received our bill and I was charged for 2 teas AND a soda. I've never been charged for something sent back, let alone a beverage. A simple 2 to 3 dollars (tea is cheaper than that) will end up costing potential happy customers down the road. We certainly won't be back!
We celebrated Mom’s 92nd Birthday at Marcelina’s tonight. They went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. Warm, friendly and exceptional service. The specials for tonight were great, made it hard to decide what to order! From the appetizers (try the calamari it’s a huge portion) to the main course - dinner was outstanding! And we were thrilled with the Tiramisu for dessert!
Dinner this evening was EXCELLENT. Best lasagna I’ve had in a long time. Service was great. Multiple staff members checking in to make sure we had a good dining experience. Highly recommend having dinner there!
Marcelina’s is our favorite Italian restaurant. We are there at least once a week. My husband is hard to please Italian and he says “It’s as good as mom’s”!
Incredible place! My husband I recently moved to the other side of town and have been enjoying trying new places on our new side of town. I found Marcelinas online and we were so impressed by the previous reviews. We were not let down! Our meal was delicious, the service was the best we’ve had in a long time and the pricing was very affordable. We will definitely be new frequent visitors.
