The food is very delicious, and the price is very reasonable. And also there's a food station next door that has Cuban food.
They usually get my order right, although not always. That's probably a "language barrier" thing. I have a hunch most of the Chinese people who work here are more likely to be Cantonese speakers, as opposed to Mandarin. Most kitchen staff I've seen as they refresh the steam table out front seem to be from Latin America.Anyway, maybe the place should be called Cantonese (Guangdong) Express. The food is mostly American adaptations of Cantonese fare. That's fine. The food is as good as any Chinese food one is going to buy in the food court of a shopping mall that is slowly fading away into oblivion. It's my favorite restaurant in this particular food court; including Chick-fil-A.
I love, love, love the bourbon chicken, but I am not fond of the noodles or egg rolls. I gave Mandarin Express a three dependent upon the bourbon chicken alone.
The food was great and the staff is really nice and it was all very good for the price!!
Okay food but needs work. No Thai Coconut Curry Chicken and the rice tasted old, like it was from yesterday and reheated. Watch for upsells, like .50 cents for a tablespoon of YumYum sauce, egg rolls etc. I won’t go back.
