Was very disappointed. I would be hard pressed to say anything positive about this restaurant. Dining area was dark and didn't look clean. There was only three tables occupied and we waited 30 minutes for our meals. They were sending out a lot of pizza orders, so I guess that took over priority from. done in customers. We will not recommend this place or ever return.
Disappointed. I placed an order at 6:25 via zuppler (don’t use them) they overcharged me after I placed the order… at 8:10 I called to find out about my food and the guy tells me it had been delivered at 7:45… claiming it was left in front of my door. Looked, it wasn’t there so as I’m getting ready to go downstairs thinking they might of left it in the wrong apt, my neighbor yells out my name they had left it at her door. No calls, no knock, nothing. The pizza was cold and the cannoli was awful. Don’t use Zuppler, unless you want to be overcharged, get your food cold and late. ?
Delicious food. The only red sauce my wife likes around here. Waitress and staff very attentive, had no problem setting and serving my family of ten. And the fold slice cheese pizza, a slice of NY heaven.
Wow! This place has the best Caesar salad. My kid has never eaten any pizza but cheese before we came to this place. For the first time, she's a meat lover! Come for the good food and friendly faces.
What a shame. Penne was not drained enough before plating. Water was the dominate flavor. Sauce was good and meatballs were cooked just right. The veal piccata ($23.95) had no taste, however it was very tender. Again, water dominated the flavor of the penne. The piccata sauce was absent of the lemon and butter flavor, probably because of the amount of water on the plate. I know everyone blames everything on COVID but Italians expect Italian food to taste right.
We go every Wednesday evening for trivia. Food is great. Caesar salad (plain, chicken, or shrimp) is tasty due to a very good dressing. Love the pizza, especially the Greek. Have enjoyed most of the sub selections. Chicken parm is huge and very good. My friends like the wings and the salads, and the soup. Desserts are good, if you have room.
Never in my life have I had better Italian food. AND I'm from MA, have been to the North End, grew up in Italian neighborhood. This place should have a line around the block. We drive about an hour and a half a week to dine in, and take some home with us.
My new favorite restaurant. I was a dine in customer. The sauce is delish, the noodles were perfectly cooked, did I mention fresh fresh fresh. Customer service was wonderful. The owner went out of his way for me, thank you!! (Still dont like anchovies, LOL, ?)There was live music, Monday, which was awesome. Definately recommend!
First time I left zero tip. I am not proud of that, but this waitress was literally hostile to us! She actually threw plates on the table! The whole meal was just a jumbled mess. I got (and finished) my entree before my appetizer (bread knots) and before my girl even got her salad!I wish the food made up for the service and I am sure the service tarnished our perception of the food, but come on: a calzone that is 2 1/2 inches of just bread and ricotta all the way around the edges, bread knots soaked in oil, a microwave reheated lasagna and sprite that tasted like a dirty nozzle.Sorry for the bad review. I know it is hard to get help, let alone good help right now; but a bad attitude will kill your business. Maybe switch to delivery only and concentrate on better food.
Best Italian joint I've ever experienced, hands down. Best garlic knots I've ever tasted. I haven't tasted anything I have yet not to like. I love, love, love this place. The food is amaaaazing!! ??
