Served stale hushpuppies the service was poor. Over priced for the meals with having to pay extra for your drink. They are No longer worth coming back to.
Not what it once was. The staff needs to work on customer service. The person taking orders, does not listen. She constantly spoke over me.
was driving back to Jacksonville and stopped in and got a large family meal to take home because we don't have a long johns in Jacksonville shrimp was great like i remember and the fish and chicken were spot on!!!!team inside was very nice even after the large order was placed.

My dear departed grandma Ivy was the daughter of a traveling preacher who made it a point to entice his congregations with crunchy fish fries. She used to love going to LJS because it was the closest thing to "her daddy's fish." grandma Ivy is long gone, as is most of the LJSs but from time to time I manage to pass one and when I can I stop and have some crunchy fish and think of Grandma. You should too!

My wife and I went there for lunch and the cashier I don't know her name she was a black lady, she was very rude I ask her if I can order something else. She replied what. she didn't ask or say what would you like Sir.
We got take out, food was good. The location itself could do with some updating, but nothing wrong with it.
Still piping hot good seafood for over 40 years! Workers are always great and the food gets to you fast!
