Huge disappointment.I had never been to Keke's before, so I looked forward to trying it. Things didn't work out too well. The staff is nice, and the place is clean. That's where the compliments end.I had blueberry French toast, which is supposed to be stuffed with blueberries. I got two thick slices of fried bread cut in quarters. I believe they fried the bread, smeared it with cream cheese, added blueberry goo, made a sandwich, and cut it in 4 pieces. The whole thing was barely warm. The toast had no flavor to speak of. There was only a tiny amount of cream cheese. The blueberry stuff was obviously canned, and it was thickened with a tremendous amount of corn starch. I ate three pieces because I needed food, and I left the last one for the busboy.I also had 4 pieces of link sausage. They were thin compared to the sausages other places serve. They cost $5.49, which seemed ridiculous. My companion had eggs and pancakes. He left the bottom pancake because it was tough and difficult to cut.The kitchen was very slow, and our orders came out at different times. My bill was over $20, including decaf and tax.I would never eat there again. Cracker Barrel is much, much better, for less money. Keke's is all hype. If you like food that looks good, tastes bland, comes out slowly, and costs a lot, this place is for you. They need to do better.
Nice Atmosphere, breakfast was great the only thing they don't serve grits
I like the restaurant. Nice staff, good music, and the food is tasty. I especially like the fact that they keep the music at a low level, giving an enjoyable experience to customers.I see that the business makes and effort to employ people of special needs, so I'm happy to be a patron of this business. Kudos to you guys! ?
Fantastic food? but slowWait staff not well trained
They somehow lost our order ticket we were sitting looking at everyone get their food that came in after us and on top of that they only had 3 servers. They must do better
Arrived and told there was a wait with plenty of tables open. They didn't tell our serve that she had a new table... 10 minutes she came around. She wasn't the worst or the best. Food wasn't correct and when sent back it was clearly pulled apart to fix. When issue was addressed with the person who brought out the food she was very rude. Home fries were too salty and under cooked. Couldn't get fries because the oil wasn't hot and it would be a while. Food is lacking, customer service is terrible, and lack of communication. This was our 2nd try with the same results, tries were almost 10 months apart.
we came for breakfast and it was a 20 minute wait which wasn’t that unusual but when we were seated it took 27 minutes for us to get our food and it was only half then another 6 minutes for us to receive the rest and one of the employees had said to another table near us that they had to ask their waiter for the check but in a rude manner. the tables were not clean as well and the waiter did not check on us at all but the food was good but nothing anyone would fan over.
The franchise seems to be on point. The food quality, service, atmosphere, and prices are all great. Don't let the long line scare you away, as they go very fast.My only criticism for management is the lack of guest wifi and espresso drinks. Those are worth one star to me personally. I can understand the wifi from a business standpoint; you don't want people working on laptops in the revolving door that is Kiki's. A latte with this french toast would be perfect.
The food here is so yummy! Definitely will return and recommend!
Excellent Family Restaurant . They offer great portions size & delicious food. It’s the ideal Breakfast spot I’ve been there about 10 times & can't wait to go back. Multiple locations open statewide check them out!!!!
