Had the Cubano and it was delicious, great pork and bread, a but thick but still very good!

Entered the restaurant, was told to seat myself. A few people walked after me, the wait staff… I use that term because I can’t think of what else to call them. They ran over and took the 4 guys order. Not a big deal they are on lunch I can see the yellow vest.I sat and waited for very long time for anyone to come to my table. The guys get their drinks…. Then their food, I’m still waiting! Finally a server comes and those a menu on the table as she is passing by, no hi, can I get you a drink… nothing. Don’t wast your time or money on this place! Dirty, rude and dry food! And the price for a pork sandwich was $17.00

Honest review… when they brought my sandwich to my table my first thought was “wow this is huge” but then I opened it and seen that the meat was piled in the middle and there was a lot of bread. The Cuban sandwich was decent. Not the best but it wasn’t the worst. The fries were good. Complementary fried plantains were good. Very pricey $$$. I give 4 stars because I left full and the staff was nice and the place was clean. Food was average. I wouldn’t go back to be honest. This is my opinion.

Extremely slow service. Do not come here if you only get an hour for lunch. The water tastes bad. I got the special, a beef soup. Marginal. We asked for a side of bread. Never delivered. Drink refills? Forget about it

We eat there all the time. Close to our house and the food is good. Service is pretty bad though. We just walked out a few minutes ago due to waitress attitude. One table out of 25 or so had a customer, which is typical. We went to the table we usually eat at and were told by the blond waitress who we have had poor service from before and who knows no English, that we couldn’t sit at that booth as it was for people with children. We could only decipher this due to her pointing to a child seat nearby. She kept insisting that we could not sit there and walked away without taking our order. She was indicating that we would not be waited on. I asked for the manager but the waitress seemed like she didn’t know the word. We walked out. I have eaten there probably 30 times. They have almost no business and probably can’t afford to lose regulars.

I stumbled upon this place by accident. I fell in love with Cuban food in Ft Lauderdale and decided to give the food here a try. I had chicken with onions and peppers, black beans, yellow rice, sweet plantains and Cuban coffee expresso. Everything was outstanding. The flavors were remarkable. As was the service. I look forward to returning during my month or two in Ocala.

Online menu wasn’t even close to in restaurant menu. Steak was rubbery and overpriced. Fries were stuck together like they were glued. Horrid customer service all around. Would not recommend to anybody. $30 for skirt steak ?

We just stopped in for lunch after moving back to the area and were so excited to have found such amazing Cuban food! Great depth of flavor and kind service!

best coffee I e had in a long time good eats too

Ordered grilled skirt steak. Came out to $30.Every single other steak on the menu was $16 and also skirt steak. Waiter did not disclose that only that steak was priced by market value upon ordering. When I asked what the market price was of the steak they told me $30 a pound and that’s the market price everywhere. Straight Highway robbery. The steak was tough and rubbery. Horrid horrid experience. Still paid and left a tip but 1/10 would not recommend to anybody.
