Harry's.....Cajun kick with a refined retro twist. We've been in the Harry's habit for many years. Always at the Lakeland location. Birthday parties, anniversaries, holidays, etc.Oh, and just regular eating days, too! LOLSo, it made sense to hit Harry's of Ocala for Mother's Day!Even though my Fav Fab One isn't my mother, she is mom to two beautiful daughters. It was fun treating her to another meal in her honor. It was Just the Two of Us, like Bill Withers used to sing.We arrived early, first ones at the door with a few others, waiting to feast at noon.Sitting in a very cozy booth near a window, our Harry's wishes would be granted by the very capable 'Nina', or Janina. She proved to be the perfect skipper for this seafood sojourn. Let the festivities begin!First up, I ordered a cup of the She Crab Soup.I'm here to say that was THE BEST version of this delectable soup that I've ever supped! Deeeeee-licious!Next, we both shared a heaping helping of Harry's terrific Fried Green Tomatoes. Absolutely perfect. The crunchy cornflake crust complimenting the tomatoes with the help of a drizzled Chipotle aioli and Feta cheese. Dang! Now here comes our entrees. You cannot go to New Orleans without digging into some Jambalaya. And likewise, I cannot go to Harry's without jumping into some. That is precisely what I ordered.Fab One got the aptly named French Market Pasta. My Jambalaya was Ça c’est bon, as usual! Sweet AND spicy with that wonderful ocean catch aroma. And they give you a HUGE portion as my photo will attest.Fab One's pasta dish was a zesty Zydeco of shrimp, chicken, spinach & bacon swimming in a creamy pool of parmesan and basil.I'll wrap up by saying this Harry's in Horse Country finished in First place all the way around! A Triple Crown win!

Good food, we were able to get a table for 9 to accommodate our group. Service was friendly, waiter handled dividing up the bill amongst 4 different groups at the table without missing a beat.

Food is outstanding! This is my favorite restaurant anywhere. I had lunch here two days in a row. The wait staff is less than adequate. The waiter and waitress were not well trained and rude, I guess I’d say dismissive of us. This could be an amazing place if they had employees who cared.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Everyone in our party were more than pleased with their meals. Delicious food and excellent service. Would definitely go again if in the area.

The food ,atmosphere and staff were awesome! We live in Ocean Springs, Ms. and were in Jacksonville visiting family. My husband brought me to St. Augustine and we decided to eat here. Will definately go back when we go again!

This is the Shrimp and Scallops Orleans ! Absolutely delicious ! Some of the most authentic New Orleans food I've found in my travels and well that's A LOT !!!! The other day I had the Chicken Louisian and that was fabulous too ! Sorry no photos of that one !

Love this restaurant! So many delicious items on the menu to choose from but one of my favorite is The Fresh Market Pasta.. so delicious!!

Phenomenal! We came to Ocala to visit some friends and they recommended we come here for dinner. It was really great. The service was very good and the Jambalaya was probably the best I've ever had. Highly recommended

Excellent ambience, service. Our server Nick was superb (and cute). Food was awesome... I had the French Market Pasta which was OMG good! Wonderful lemon drop martini. If you're into dessert, try the Chocolate Bread Pudding! Wow and enough to share. An awesome dining experience!
