Place was great but server gave me my bill before asking if we were done. I’m sure it wasn’t meant in a bad intent but could’ve asked before bringing the bill because that’ll make a customer feel rushed. But server was great overall.
Very good cracker barrel nice and clean. The place was packed out today. Not much of a wait though for lunch a 20 minutes that was great. The staff is very thorough. Make sure to have your dessert first They had a Coca-Cola chocolate cake with a dip of vanilla ice cream! We were in heaven. Handicap parking handicap seating. And on cooler days there is even seating outside with service!
There was not as much in our Chicken Pot Pies & when we mentioned it to Waitress she asked us if we have been to the Grocery Store Lately………not Satisfied
This was a very disappointing meal in comparison to past experiences with the chain. The fish, fries and hush puppies tasted like they had been sitting in the oil, waiting to be ordered. Our server only returned to drop off the check. My plate was covered by oil, literally. When I asked the server for the manager, she never called for one. I asked for the manager at the register, he was very apologetic and it was settled.
Thank you to our lovely waitress and the Cracker Barrell solving our Mothers day dinner with no wait time and an excellent dinner last night!! I am so pleased we chose the cracker barrell in Ocala finally after the terrible experience from being excluded after a 3 hour wait at bonefish to get no waitress after 25 min more.. I can only say the service was amazing the food was lovely and as always the store offers a variety of perfect gifts that only the Cracker Barrell can advertise with just the right amount of pizazz! I love it!! ❤️ Happy Mothers Day!!
first I should say I've been a server my whole life....Our server Linda didn't come up to us for 10 minutes finally decided to show up only to ask us in a very rude and frazzled voice "what can I get you?" With no hello or apologies for ignoring us as she passed us by several times. I asked for the manager and she literally walked away from the table without saying anything I had to follow her to get a manager. Terrible server, but doesn't reflect on the company.
The food was good. I expected that. Very friendly staff, even after a bus full showed up and short staffed.
Still great place to eat, not very busy, and accommodating to larger parties. Always in and out and service is quick and friendly. The fireplace going on cold mornings is a nice touch. If there were ever issues with our order it's fixed very quickly without hesitation. Staff is always nice and prices are very fair. If the family is undecided on where to eat, it's a good place to fall back on to make everyone happy and have a relaxing time.
Staff was friendly. Meals were good. I had. The chicken salad the portion was very large. Husband had roast beef dinner and notice the serving of beef was slightly smaller than in the past. But with current beef prices not surprised. They seem to increase the size of the other sides to compensate. We felt we had a good value for the price.
I was impressed with this location! They were pretty busy & a wait time. I walked in to place an order &/or get a carry out order & found out the wait times which I didn’t have time for so I just placed the order & asked for it to go. I figured I’d be waiting a long time, low & behold it wasn’t any time at all! Everything was perfect, then I went to stand in line to pay the bill & it was lengthy but they got through it fast. In & out in no time! Just what I needed! Thanks Cracker Barrel!
