My family and I have been going to this Chinese restaurant for years now and always receive the best service. The food is always hot and fresh and they do an excellent job at keeping buffet fully stocked. I've been to oceans buffet before and they can't compare to the quality of food that China Lee Buffet has to offer. Best Chinese buffet!
I happen to know the brother and sister who own this restaurant and they strive daily to have the best food available. I want all residents of Marion County to hear this, "Go enjoy all that they offer". Great people and lovely foods. Since 2008 they need a new building though. Maybe this year. Good luck! My little granddaughter as a baby grew up on their great food. She is 8 years old now but was 15months old eating here.
Very disappointed !!! We come here all the time ! We stoped in at 9 o'clock tonight. After we walked in 20 people walk in behind us. We all walk up to get food and there's nothing there! Employees say they will start bringing more food out. After waiting 20mins the 20 people that walked in walked out! Management said "sorry we don't bring alot of food out after 9p.m". I said you close at 10:30? After getting a few things we wait to see what happens. Maybe they will bring food out or maybe they will not charge us full price? I was wrong! Not only did we pay full price but after I told them I have 2 10 year olds they didn't believe me and still charged me full price! Very upsetting!!!
China Lee has a great selection of foods for almost any taste. They also have a back room for parties or special dinners,
I used to love this place but something has changed.It just doesn't taste the same.The food is off but I can't explain what it is.I noticed its not as busy as it used to be but the food in the buffet has changed also.My favorites are gone.We paid a lot more and no stuffed mushrooms and no sautéed green beans.I hope it goes back the way it was.
Ate here 3 x while staying in the area. Great food, they are constantly refreshing the different dishes. The sushi was really good. There was lots of different rolls and nigiri. Remember to grab a plastic cup for the soy sauce which is on the table. Lots of fruit for the smaller folks, jello too... my 2-year old loved the egg drop soup & the chicken wings. Wait staff ia good at clearing plates and refilling drinks. Great place! Check out the fish tank for the cast of Finding Nemo. :)
We went on a Saturday night before going to a concert at the Reilly Arts Center. The strip mall this is in is certainly not at capacity. As we pulled up there were a lot of people coming and going and a crowded parking lot in front of the buffet, which is a good sign. Can’t remember the last time we were given a pager at a Chinese Buffet because there was a waiting list to get in. Our server was Lilly and she was excellent. - The buffet has a hibachi grill, that was good but the Mongolian Sauce I picked was too heavy on the salt. - They have a sushi bar which was excellent, the pieces were bigger than normal and they had a good variety to choose from. - They also had numerous buffet tables loaded with food. The egg rolls and the Crab Rangoon were excellent, the Crab Rangoon were full of cheese. They had shrimp with the heads on that were very lightly coated with salt and pepper, I think, but they were hot and tasty. Their Chines barbecued boneless spareribs were a different color than I have ever seen, they definitely do not use red food coloring, unfortunately it was not very flavorful. I make better boneless Chinese Spareribs at home, I use Five-Spice for mine and skip the red food coloring too. - The killer was the ice cream bar, they had a Maple Walnut, sugar free, but it was the best Maple Walnut ice cream that I have ever had.
First time experience was very good. The price was good, the food was fresh and hot. The service was excellent. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. The entrance has a beautiful saltwater aquarium and well cared for. The place was clean. It was a busy Friday lunch but never ran out of food. I will be returning.
Honestly the best restaurant I’ve been to since I’ve moved to Florida. First time eating here and everything was perfect. No wait time we were immediately seated and began making our food. Servers were extremely nice and quick to take away plates. Lots of options for everyone whether you like meats or veggies. The man at the hibachi grill seemed a little irritated and cold but the food tasted great. Can’t wait to go back !
I love this place. They work really hard and they are super friendly. I come here every week and never disappointed. I get the Mongolian grill and it's delicious. Great little buffet for the price.
