The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Hot, tasty and well prepared with fresh and crisp green lettuce. Tomatoes were good too. My 1 star demerit was due to logistics. I understand that Chic fil a restaurants are super busy but the layout of this restaurant was not conducive to a busy environment. I was also shocked by the small bathroom. This was a stop on a road trip so we knew the restroom would be clean and it was. Unfortunately it's not very well ventilated and seemed "stuffy". There were only 2 stalls one regular and one handicap accessible. Multiple stalls could benefit the flow of traffic. The staff was very helpful and proactive and Miss Peggy kept the beverages flowing. The drive thru seemed super busy too.Location wise, it's a slight challenge getting in the parking lot coming from the interstate because the turning lane is short, so be careful pulling in.
Busy, busy, busy location, literally ALWAYS! ...but the lines move fairly quickly, both inside and in the drive-thru! I walk inside to order, pretty often, and as you are waiting for your order, you have the opportunity to watch the Front of House Staff doing their thing. Twice now, I've been able to catch two different Managers interacting with their staff, in the sweetest exchanges. There is definitely an excellent balance of 'time to hustle', showing appreciation to their staff, and leading by example. It's no surprise to me, that this is such a successful location. Reviews are always subjective but I'm noticing a trend. You didn't use to salt your fries. On top of them consistently being soggy, you always get a mouth full of salt to boot. Why can't it go back to no salt and let the guest add their own, instead of one person determining how an entire batch will taste? Just how we're asked if we want condiments (because they cost money), salt should be included in that question.The recipe may still be the same, but the coating on the chicken is different. Either you've changed it or gotten stingy with it. It used to cover the nugget with that thick, special, patented coating. Now, there's such a thin layer on it, it's barely detectable.I got a fruit cup the other day. The apples were bad. Nobody checks the food?Service is always stellar but now the quality of the food plummeted and it's not a one-time thing. It's every time.Why?
When going inside to order, my food is always out quickly. The chicken melts in your mouth whether you get the strips or the sandwich. One of the best places to eat on my lunch break.
When the dining area was closed, the lines were extremely long, but it seemed to move very fast and efficient..A few months back I was in that area and the line didn't seem too bad...Right, I was stuck for about a solid 15 minutes after I gave my order...and it took a long time to have somebody come to the window...I thought, wow, that's strange...It was always major quick....I finally asked one of the employees on line what is going on..she said there seemed to be a problem with an order or something...Okay, now the dining area is open and I went inside instead of waiting on line...OMG, the line was just as long inside, seemed like a lot of confusion going on....Finally, I get to my car and now I am blocked in from all the cars coming in off of 200...This is the most insane busy area to have a popular restaurant off of a very very busy hwy....I had to wait to get out for quite a while...SO...LOL...TOO MUCH STRESS!!!!!! for a chicken sandwich and fries...Unless they are not busy at all, nobody on line, no cars in the parking lot...lol..Oh, and the quality seemed to worsen since I first went...I know depending on the day, sometimes its good, sometimes not, but the last couple of sandwiches were small, one fell in my lap when I went to take a bite, it was in pieces and the fries were not hot and mushy...but...hit or miss, it's fast food....I guess they are overwhelmed.....
Food was great, but we didn't get anything we ordered, despite our name being on the package. I ordered a kids meal with fruit and received fries. Then we ordered a chicken sandwich and 12 piece nuggets. Instead, we got 2 orders of chicken strips. It took about 30 minutes to get through the line.
Incredible original chicken sandwich... the spicy is decent as well.The nuggets are an upgrade for the kids over your standard fast food nuggets.Busy as always.. so never just a quick stop for lunch.
Charged me for two orders of chicken nuggets and only gave me one order. Usually they're pretty accurate but not this time. I never did call back to fix the issue because what would've been done?
Went for son's birthday. Loved the fact there was a nice, clean outdoor eating area. Everyone is always very friendly. Fast service. Delicious chicken.
