It was our 1st time here and we loved it! Service was A+! Meagan was very friendly and attentive to all our family’s needs. I came specifically for the lasagna, which they didn’t have but they gave me an alternative that was delicious! Sangrias we’re sweet and strong. Overall an awesome experience! Will definitely return. Highly recommend!
I called to make sure the kitchen was open 45 min before closing. I got there with 30 min till close, sat at the bar and was treated like a normal customer. I was never rushed and they waited till my order was in before closing down the kitchen. I ordered appetizers and small plates only, but never felt like I was a burden to stay open. The bartender was great!
I was First time,The grill shrimp was 8pcs too small serving cost $25.00 too much burn and taste like charcoal. Serviced soooo long to wait and serving with smaller portions . We’re not enjoying this dinner.
Very misleading from outside. Looks like closed business. The flower planters in front have dead plants and sign was hanging down. Floor mats piled up on a bench by front entrance. This business REALLY needs to spruce up the outside! But we went in because we needed to wait somewhere and wanted a very light lunch because we had an appointment near by and we’re waiting for our appointment time. It’s nice inside! Surprise! Friendly hostess at front. But all servers we encountered because we wanted to move tables were so friendly and helpful. Had a nice light lunch in pleasant surroundings (inside?). Nice lunch specials which we split. What my husband ordered included a salad, bowl of soup and shrimp scampi for $9.99!!! Husband had the soup and scampi and I had the Cesar salad. We also split the calamari, which is excellent at every Carrabba’s I’ve ever been to.Would return if in Ocala and hopefully this restaurant will do some spring cleaning and sprucing up on the exterior.
Honestly, I expected it to be similar to Olive Garden. Boy was I wrong. The food was absolutely delicious from the starter breads, to the appetizer, to the drinks (must try the prickly pear margarita) to the entree. We were completely satisfied! The server was great and did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be back!
Great Italian food. Great service. Decent prices.
Although an Italian restaurant the menu has plenty of gluten-free options. The food is good but spicy hot. I had the lentil soup and it was great but very spicy. It’s fine for me but my sister could not have eaten it. The salad with house dressing was good, bread served hot crust cristy. The pasta with shrimp and scallops very good and the dirty martini excellent.
Second time at Ocala location.Service was so so, among 6 people one meal, Lasagne was good.Weezie was terrible, spaghetti and sauce terrible, veal piccata awful. will not return.Carrabas use to be wonderful...not anymore.Even the Spring Hill location very bad.
My husband always gets the lobster ravioli. Today we were there and he ordered his ravioli but nothing was in them they were so thin and nothing was in them
My husband and I pulled into Carraba’s for dinner. I must say that we have never been to such a nasty Carrabba’s ever. The outside is shameful. The weeds on the roof are so tall it covers the sign on the building. That was our first red flag. We went inside hoping that the outside was just an oversight (many months in the making but still an oversight). The staff was very unfriendly starting with the person that seated us, who seemed to be of the management staff but without a name tag one could not be sure. Sadly from the entrance to the bar to the restrooms even around our tables, there was no lack of trash, it was overflowing out of the little trash can at the check in station and rubbish all over the floors. That was our second red flag and I must say I could not see the kitchen and rather than chance my food being prepared in filth, we left. I didn’t want to find out what the third red flag might be. They need a serious management overhaul which I am sure extends way up the ladder.
