Had a pleasant experience today. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We got the wrong order for one of the kids' meals, but she quickly corrected it. Honestly we should've kept it because they both wanted the piggy hotcakes after seeing it (didn't get a picture). Salad and soup was excellent. Will need to figure out the app for deals.
We have had good food and service at many Bob Evans restaurants in the past. We go to this location sometimes for convenience when we are in the area. This restaurant has a serious staffing shortage and big moral problems. Lots of staff arguing with each other right in front on the customers. And this happens frequently. Where is the manager? Why doesn't the corporate office fix this ongoing problem? The service has gone downhill at this location and the food is hit or miss. Need to get this fixed!
Very friendly waitress. Food was delicious. I got the fried chicken breast they were very flavorful, tender and juicy. The biscuit was soft and fluffy very good. Unsweet tea with a lemon very good. Overall a great meal. Definitely recommend this place. ??
As a frequent guest at the Bob Evans SR40 location, my all female party of 4 can be nicely demanding, weirdly picky & simply a handful. I feel it only right, today's server MARLEY be recognized for excellent service, a cheerful disposition & patience of a saint. He can surely be an asset to your company, as a new server he composed himself far better than plenty who've attained gobs & gobs of experience So, Marley, shout out to you ... many thanks for enduring our visit with a smile.
If you want to be treated like family then come and dine at Bob Evans. All the staff is friendly and attentive to every detail. The food is always delicious and you can close your eyes and remember what it was like back home. Relax and enjoy the down on the farm experience.

The best damn biscuit and gravey I ever had in a very long time food was delicious it was hot in the restaurant other wise good service all around . The fact it was made fresh and not from a can was worth it !

The food was delicious. This was our first time at this one, so I don't know what it is usually like. We were busy talking with friends when the waitress came and apologized for our wait. We hadn't realized that it had been half an hour since we had ordered. After that we noticed. It was at least another 15 to 20 minutes till we got our food. No they weren't busy. I don't know if they were short on cooking staff or what was going on. The food was good and the waitress was good, just the wait time, especially for a Sunday evening and hardly anyone there.
On a wet and cold morning I called in and placed an order for curbside pickup. I called when I parked to let them know I had arrived and was told my order was still not ready over 30 minutes later. Fine. I waited another 20 minutes and in this time I see another curbside order being brought out. I called to see if my order was ready after another few minutes and Valerie says it's ready I can come pick it up. I informed her it was curbside and she lies and says no ma'am we're not doing curbside due to weather. I told her I just witnessed an order being brought out and she says well that was a server. She proceeds to say that if I waited an undisclosed amount of time she would bring my order out and hung up on me as I was responding to her. I went inside and asked for the manager. As I wait Crystal comes out and I explain to her what happened. She takes my order over to the register and gives me a blank stare and blanket apology as if to say she wasn't really concerned that her hostess was a rude, disgusting person(I did say this to her). Not to mention that as I was speaking to Crystal, Valerie had a very satisfied smile on her face as though she were proud of her actions. She has messed up numerous orders and even replacement orders she messes up. I'm not sure why such a person still has a job working with the public and around their food. This makes me not want to return to this restaurant but there are others that are spectacular like Ms. Iriene.
